A Highly Successful 2016 Annual General Meeting

Our 2016 Annual General Meeting was a great success on Tuesday night with approximately 30 people attending. The 2015 Annual

Report and the 2015 Financial Report were tabled and accepted at the meeting. Congratulations to the following members

continuing on in their second year and also to those newly elected to the 2016 School Council:

Parents: Chris Quince (Chairperson), Rosalina Burrowes (Secretary), Kylie Hyde (Treasurer), Liz Ganley, Andrew Swart, Jody

Murray, Di Morrison, Darlene Devery, Zoe Jones (Duncan fills one of the invited member positions)

Preschool Representative (one year): Sarah Podobnik

Teachers: Danielle Hall, Aine Nowak, Emma Hansen, and Jasmine Murdoch.

Principal: Rob Presswell

Invited Representative Positions include Duncan MacGillivray (parent), and MLA Drysdale, with one position vacant.

Copies of the 2015 Annual Report and 2015 Financial Report are available at the front office for any School community members

who would like a copy.

2016 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for Council with our school community considering applying for Independent Public

School status and also developing our Strategic Plan for 2017 – 2020. School community members are always welcome to our



meetings with our first meeting of the new Council being 6.30 pm Thursday 14 April 2016. We look forward to another great year at

Driver!

If you have any poppers or other 10c containers (not glass) at home please send them to school with your child. They are a great

way for us to raise money and your students can earn extra points when they come to farm.

Pallet Benches For Sale

Last year, the Year 5/6 classes made fantastic wooden pallet benches, which we are now selling for $50 each at the front office. A

great gift idea, these benches would look wonderful on your verandah, in the garden or for use as a display bench. HURRY while

stocks last!

A Word From the Dentist













Darwin Roller Girls is looking for expressions of interest from parents who would like to have their kids partake in a learn to

roller/inline skate.

This program is in it's early planning stages but a venue and trainers (all have working with children checks) have been secured.

We are currently seeking official expressions of interest for this class so that we can finalise some particulars including class size

and training program.



By completing this survey, participants will be the first to know about the program and given the first opportunity to enroll.
