And make sure to bring the original document. The copy will not be accepted.

Proceed to TOYOTA RENT A CAR reception desk.

arrival lobby on the 1st floor.

terminal building.

Turn left once you come through the arrival gate and proceed to nearly the far end.

No counter located in domestic terminal.Try to find exit number A, where is located on the 1F of FUKUOKA Airport Domestic

terminal building, Fukuoka Airport Shop is located in front of the exit A.

The check-sheet is written in Japanese only. It says confirmations of the car conditions, scratches, dents and damages currently.

Expressways

There are two kinds of toll gates.

◆One is gate.

is general lane. If you don’t have ETC card. You are required to go through

gate.

◆The other one is gate.

This lane is for exclusive use of the car installed with ETC equipment and the

customer who hold a ETC card.

？？What is the difference of and ??

⇒ make a payment at the each toll gate.

⇒ You can drive through the toll gate without paying toll each time.

The toll can be paid when you return the car according the record.

A two lane expressway is divided into the ‘cruising lane’ and ‘passing lane’.

Using ETCWhat is ETC?

ETC system enables drivers to pay a toll without stopping at tollgates. If the

car has an inserted ETC card, the toll can be paid later according the record.

Procedure of ETC rental

1. Request ETC card rental when you book rent-a-car.

2. You will receive ETC card at the counter of TOYOTA RENT A CAR.

3. Insert the ETC card properly, then enjoy driving in KYUSHU!

4. When you return rent-a-car, please make a payment according the record.

Driving on expressway using the ETC system,

pass through lanes designated as

ETC (indicated with the sign ) or

lanes designated for ETC cars and cash

payment cars

Additional points of note

●Is your ETC card inserted properly?

The gate won’t be open if ETC card is not inserted properly. When getting into your car,

insert the card correctly into ETC and ensure working properly.

●Passing through the ETC lane no faster than 20 km/hKeep slower than 20 km/h, due to avoid accidents. The gate may not be opened due to

transmittance error, or the car before you may suddenly stop.

●Keep a safe distance between your car and the car ahead when entering

the ETC lane.Vehicles in front of your car might stop suddenly.

●Never reverseIf your car suddenly stops in the ETC lane, never go back. This act might be lead to collisions

with following vehicles and collisions with a tollgate staff. Just wait for tollgate staffs.

●Never enter ETC lane when its signal light is red.

●Child Seat Requirements

Regarding child seat, until 5-year child is required by law.

●Seat Belt Requirements

All passengers (included back seats) must be fasten seat belts by law.

At Gas Station

Don’t run out of gas at a mountain pass. For long-distance

driving in KYUSHU, refuel once a day!

●Two types of gas Station

There are two types of gas station.

One is FULL SERVICE/フル gas station.

Follow the instructions of the attendant, who will refuel

your car.

What only you have to do is tell the staff “MA-N-TA-N”

which means “FULL TANK”.

The other one is SELF SERVICE/セルフgas station.

You refuel your car by yourself.
