How does LSD effect the nervous system

Doctors still aren’t 100% sure how LSD effects the body. They say that LSD works like sorotonin. A neurotransmitter that regulates mood, sexuality and other things such as muscle control. LSD seems to effect the way these sorotonins act. It could inhibit neurotransmission, stimulate it or both. 0.25 Micrograms of LSD per 1kg is able to create hallucinating effects.

How does heroin effect the body

Heroin is a depressant, therefore slowing down pretty much everything that happens in your body, it slows down your emotional, physical andMental responses.

Repetitive use of heroin Repetitive use of heroin has serious

effects on the body. Heroin is a drug derived from morphine, therefore being highly addictive. It cause severe problems, such as seizures, strokes, liver disease and even death.

Risks of inject heroin A lot of people choose to inject heroin

through needles into their veins, this on its own carries its own risks which potentially can be fatal. Risks include collapsed veins, abscesses and a higher risk of contracting HIV, Hepatitis B and C and bacterial infections.

What is morphine? Morphine is a commonly used drug to

relieve sever pain. Morphine was first isolated by Friedrich Serturner in 1804. Morphine is the most abundant alkaloid found in opium.

How does morphine work Morphine works by “blinding” the opioid

receptors inside cells, making the cells become sluggish, causing them to not be nearly as sensitive, or even cause them to stop functioning all together.

Side effects of morphine Morphine has a series of complex actions

in the body, and carries its own risks. Morphine affects the cell membranes all over the body. There for affecting more then just the area of pain. It has many side effects, but the most dangerous is respiratory depression. It is not as much of a problem with lower doses of morphine, but when a higher dose of morphine is taken, the respiratory rate can decrease significantly.

Side effects of morphine Morphine can also cause histamine

release, which causes itching of the skin, nose and possibly a mild flushing of the skin. Morphine has barely no direct effect on the heart or blood pressure, however morphine may lower heart rate or blood pressure after the pain relieve.
