Don’t overpost – this isn’t Facebook. Limit your posts to once a day and make sure the content is relevant and interesting. This isn’t the forum for cat pictures.

Make your profile stand out. Make sure you add a professional profile picture. Statistics show that people are seven times more likely to view a profile with a picture than one without.

Make sure your headline sets you apart from the crowd. Keep is short, relevant, informative and interesting. Catch their attention and tell them who you are in 140 characters or less.
