South East Regional Academy
of Sport (SERAS) presents the
NSW Talented Athlete Camp (NTAC).
N NTAC introduces emerging athletes to the
fundamental aspects of elite level competition,
including access to some of the best dryland/on-snow training
facilities and coaches, & the opportunity for athletes & parents to
learn how to achieve Personal Excellence from elite
Sporting Professionals.
NTAC will be held over 2 days & consists of a Dryland & At-Snow
component. Ncomponent. NTAC is open to athletes aged between
14 years to 18 years who meet the selection criteria.

RKYFThe Rob KnellerThe Rob Kneller Youth Foundation (RKYF) has partnered with NSW Snowsports, to generously subsidise the travel cost of local Snowy Moun-tains athletes to participate in NTAC. To be eligible to receive this generous subsidy, athletes must reside in the Snowy Mountain Region.Snowy Mountain Region.
ATHLETE CRITERIA
Age: 14yrs to 18yrsMembership: To apply, athletes are re-quired to be 2015/16 financial members of NSW Snowsports & have renewed their membership by 25th of May 2016.Attendance: Athletes will be required to attend all campsCost: Free of Charge-Camp is part of NSWS Athlete Development ProgramSelection: Successful Applicants will selected from the EOI.
DISCIPLINE CRITERIA
Must not be current NSWIS athleteMust not be current NSWIS athleteAlpine: State Team MembersXC: State Team Members & a financial member of NSWXC 2016 winter on-snow program by 25 May 2016.Freestyle: Competed in the 2015 Aus-tralian Freestyle Moguls ChampsSnowboard:Top 8 in any discipline at the 2015 Australian Junior Series.
Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in fitness testing and be advised how to use this information to improve, High Intensity Cardiovascular training, Prehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Recovery including Ice bathes, Spas, Foam Rolling and Stretching Techinques. The On Snow Component will include coaching from top level coaches from each discipline.
Parents and Athletes will also be educated on Personal Excellence - a multifacted approach to being an athlete which includes guidance, resources multifacted approach to being an athlete which includes guidance, resources and educational opportunities to achieve personal and professional empower-ment with their approach towards sport and life. This will include discussions on Sports Nutrition, Sport Psychology, the elements of Personal Excellence and a discussion on the Snowsports pathways from development to sub-elite and all the way to Winter Olympics.
