Digital Scrapbook Academy February 2018: Lesson 02 Get Stronger for Photoshop Users

Welcome to Lesson 02 for Photoshop Users

Welcome to the second page-building lesson of Digital Scrapbook Academy! We’ll

continue to use Adobe Photoshop® CC 2018 to build simple, digital scrapbook

layouts.

In this lesson, we’ll dive deeper into the Photoshop interface by customizing a basic

template, develop embellishment clusters, work a bit more with the Character panel

and create our own customized simple shadows.

We’ll accomplish the following objectives:

• Review and repeat basic tasks learned from Lesson 01

• Rotate and straighten a skewed photo

• Create basic and dramatic Drop Shadow styles

• Develop a layered background by repurposing kit elements

• Develop two different, simple embellishment clusters

• Load a font

• Create a layered title

• Align two layers together

Let’s get started!
