SPACE ALIVE CONCEPT For hotels, restaurants, Offices, Shops and Exhibitions. Space Alive is a new innovative and patent pending Finnish design concept created by dSign Vertti Kivi & Co. With Space Alive it is possible to adjust the mood in the space and entertain client in a new way. Space Alive changes space both in physical and emotional way. It is possible to schedule morning, day, evening, night mood or even fall, winter, spring, summer feelings in the space.

All this is possible with silent motorised rails that move light walls, canvas, light effects, height adjusted lamps, movable pictures. Lights, sounds and scents are combined to the system. With different combinations it gives enormous opportunities to entertain the client in a new way. Scheduling is easy with browser (Firefox, IE etc…)

Usually Hotel and Restaurant interiors are like still pictures. We think that the interiors should be able to change depending the time of a day for different target groups to get more sales. With our Space Alive concept this is possible to do, and much more: We could create a real Talk- Of-The-Town!

- Different target groups: Morning / Day / Evening & Night?- Different use depending the time of a day: Breakfast, Lunch, Cocktail Lounge, Sports bar, Fine Dining- Space Alive in Hotels & Restaurants: Talk-Of-The-Town & Marketing -Media Publicity: More people & Sales- On-line Marketing Campaigns

The space would be used for different needs and groups: If you have the space only for one use in the evenings (Dinners), you loose day sales. With space alive we could have at least three spaces in one, and thus the sales would increase

Interior architect Vertti Kivi received the award for the Aava Resort & Spa hotel concept and interior design in Thailand. Vertti Kivi and his dSign Vertti Kivi & Co have created a clear-cut and stylish hotel design. The natural materials and robust forms of the interior create a harmonious whole, which runs effortlesly from the interior to the exterior. The design represents a first class example of Finnish export know-how, which hopefully increases in the future.

dSign design process ensures the quality of end result and the ease of each project.

dSign uses the Severa project tool, that supervises each project from the start point until the project is 100 % ready.

Severa ensures that all the deadlines is secured and that all check points are kept during each project.

dSign keeps many in-house meetings during the project for ensuring the visual direction and securing the quality assurance.

Project leader has the responsibility to stay in the schedule and in the budget. Head of design is responsible for ensuring the visual style and identity.
