is none worthy of worship, The Ever Living, TheSustainer, and we turn to You in repentance.

Fore-bearing, The All Wise. There is none worthy of

The Beloved Prophet Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam

said, If anyone sees a person who is caught up in any calamity (suchas illness or some hardship etc.) then he should read the following dua

and he shall be protected for the rest of his life from such an illness or

    calamity:

All praise is due to Allaah Who protected me

from that with which He tested you and Whodefinitely favoured me over much of His creation.

The Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, whoso ever

recites this dua before leaving his home, all his difficulties will go away and heshall be protected from the mischief of his enemies and shaitaan will stay

The Noble Prophet Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam said that if

a person recites this dua when entering a market place, Almighty Allaah will

command one million good deeds to be recorded in his book of deeds, and

He will forgive one million of his sins and he will exalt his status by one million

    folds.

There is none worthy of worship except Allaah. He is alonewithout any partner. To him belongs all Sovereignty and for Him

is all Praises. He gives life and causes death and He is All

Existing (Living) and does not die. In His Hand is all good and

He has Divine Power over all things.

    (1) It must be noted that here the term His Hand does not

mean that Allaah has a hand, but it refers to Allaahs Power

and Divine Control. We must remember that Allaah does not

have any human or body parts etc. He is free from all that

which is creation. He does not need eyes to see or ears to

hear etc. He is Allaah and does as He wills.

    (2) When it is said that Allaah has power over all things, it does

not mean that Allaah has the power to do bad things, like tell

a lie etc. To believe this is totally incorrect. It is a weakness

in qualities such a lies etc. that they cannot be attributed toAllaah.

Glory be to Allaah who has given us
