The Story of Actaeon . . .
A - Actaeon
The Story of Actaeon . . .
Each letter, in this case A, has its own title slide,
and an image relating to the story you will tell.
This story begins when Actaeon sees the goddess, Artemis, while she is bathing in a river.

The next slide after the Letter A
title slide tells the beginning of
the story, in your OWN WORDS,
NOT in all-caps. It also includes
an image relating to the begin-
ning of the story.
Artemis becomes furious at this disgrace, so she transforms Actaeon into a stag (a male deer).

The next slide after the
beginning tells the middle of
the story, in your OWN WORDS.
It also includes an image
relating to the middle
of the story.
Actaeon’s own hunting dogs think he is a wild stag, and they tear him to pieces.

Make sure to tell the end
of the story at the END:
not at the beginning (this must
also be in your own words).
Include an image that shows
events at the end of the story.
To me, the most interesting thing about Actaeon’s story is the irony of his own hunting dogs killing him. I think there is
some justice in the hunter becoming the prey.
