• Project estimate Packet A = $1.4B - $1.6B vs. $1.177B low bid

• Positive impact on toll rates = $251M (est.) • Packet A Notice to Proceed: July 2013 • Phase 2 Bid Packages:

• Packet A - rail Line, station, and systems (includes Innovation Center Station) - Awarded

design/construction effort for Herndon and Innovation Center garages

• Results of the “Route 28 Grid Analysis” traffic study are being reviewed by DOT planning staff. The results of this study will be used as part of the planning effort related to development and parking garage construction at Innovation Center south.
