Included in the deck hardware are all the armaments needed to send her into battle. #2341 is the twin screw running hardware kit used to drive the Crockett. The Jolly Jay is a scale model of a commercial fishing trawler built by the Thompson Trawler Inc.of Titusville, FL. The boat is used in the fish and shrimp industries off the Florida coast and the Gulf of Mexico. The original boat has a length of60 ft. and a beam of 20 ft. It is powered by a 365 HP Caterpillar diesel driving a 60" propeller.With the capacity to hold 40 to 50 thousand lbs. of fish, the trawler can sustain a fishing trip of upto 30 days. The Jolly Jay has many things going for it, such asmahogany plywood frames, balsa wood planking, pre-formed ABS plastic cabin parts, and complete drive line runnig hardware, including a 4.8 volt electric motor. Dive, dive, dive you are in the hunt deep in enemy water. Constantly checking your sonar screen, itis an international game of cat and mouse. All of a sudden you are rocked by a depth charge. After a breif black out, power is restored and you are diving using all your naval instincts to survive and complete this mission. You need to get them before they get you! Experience submarine action with the USS Bluefish (SS222). This 33 in. long model of a Gato/Balao class submarine has a beam of 4 in. and weighs approximately 5 pounds ready to run. The kit contains vacuum formed parts includinghull, deck, motor mounts and sails, two 4.8v electric motors and complete drive line hardware.
In the early 1980's a totally different design of SSN (Nuclear Propelled Attack Submarine) was being produced at the Komsomlsk Shipyard. Given the designation Akula (which is Russian for shark) by NATO, the Akula has a surface displacement of 7500 tons and a submerged displacement of 10,000 tons.The Dumas version of the Akula is a dynamic diving submarine model, constructed of vacuum formed ABS plastic. The Akula is built by assmebling the hull halves and adding the proper support pieces.The sealed equipment box provides excellent protection of the r/c components, while the separate battery box makes charging a snap. The Akula includes all necessary driveline hardware.
A 180' Patrol Craft EscortThe USS Whitehall was commissioned in 1944 and was named after the town ofWhitehall, NY, the birthplace of the US Navy. She served along the east coast and then was sent to the South Seas where she did anti-submarine duty. The Dumas kit features a 2-piece vacuum formed hull, expanded PVC die-cuts, and laser cut balsaand birch plywood parts. Step-by-step instructions and name and number decals round out this Navy support ship kit.
A Memphis River Tow Boat The Myrtle Corey is a fine example of a late 1800's river towboat. Typical of the day,these boats were site built, without plans, with lots of substitutions, and jury rigged construction. Once commonplace along waters of the Mississippi and Arkansas rivers, the Dumas model of the Myrtle Corey is designed to bring that amazing era back to life. This kit features vacuum formed hull and roofs. You can glide this boat over the water and up on shore just like the full size ones in the Everglades. This mahogany and birch plywood kit is easy to assemble and is built to last. No running hardware kit is required. You will need a 2 channel radio.
A real fun boat in any kind of water! This model of a Florida swamp buggy is powered by a .19-.21 size gas engine and a pusher airplane prop. It is an all wood kit consisting of precision die cut birch and mahogany plywood parts. This rugged little boat will require a 2 channel radio for R/C operation, but no running hardware kit is required.
This smaller version of the Swamp Buggy can be set up for 2 channel radio control or free running. Either way the Little Swamp Buggy is a good beginners kit for both building and running. The kit is made up of birch and mahogany plywood and willrequire a .049 size gas engine for power. No running hardware required.

This boat is chock full of racer friendly features. Front sponsons are offset for better handling in turns. Rear sponsons are detachable for easy change for race tuning and to enhance course racing. For straight away racing, rear sponsons are removable. This extremely light boat comes in kit form and features birch plywood and foam construction.

Designer/racer Gary Preusse consistently has the 3.5 Hawk in the 70 plus mph range and the 7.5 Hawk in the 90 plus mph range.
