For over 30 years, American Auto-Matrix products have been installed throughout the world. Laboratories, univer-sities, hospitals, sporting arenas, and museums are among the types of facilities that rely on our controls to provide affordable, dependable, and easily maintained solutions.
Our controls were utilized at the American Museum of Natural History in order to regulate the climate for Leonardo Da Vinci’s Codex Leicester: A Mas-terpiece of Science, an exhibit which held the last privately held manuscript of Da Vinci.
We also control the temperature and humidity at the Frederick Phineas and Sandra Priest Rose Center for Earth and Space, where the Zeiss Star Projector, one of the most advanced projectors in the world, is used.
The University of Maryland uses our Auto-Flow line of Lab & Fume Hood Controls because it “allows for maximum efficiency and increased energy savings while providing precise temperature, humidity, and pressure control throughout the day for students and faculty alike.” (Engineered Systems Magazine, 2008)

With the AspectFT® control engine, you are not limited to just one solution.
Through our Facilitating Technology (FT), the AspectFT product line is based upon open standards used within multiple industries. Designed to perform control sequences and building management routines from an array of device platforms, AspectFT can communicate utilizing drivers such as BACnet, American Auto-Matrix PUP, and Modbus®.
Through these varying aspects of the software, users can scale their projects based on size as well as hardware, and still receive the level of sophistication and control they expect.
Flexible by design, AspectFT products provide affordable area control, field-bus network data routing, rich database connectivity options, and the ability to take data available through web services and apply it to traditional control applications and sequences.
Integrating into today’s technology, AspectFT also brings building information and control into the palm of any user’s hand through integration with services like Twitter®, RSS, email, Google Calendar™, Microsoft®

Integra

The Integra Architecture provides a robust platform for integrating multiple networks into one unified source. Powered by the NiagraAX® Framework, Integra is a powerful embedded web appliance capable of integrating American Auto-Matrix PUP, BACnet, legacy PUP, and a variety of popular open protocols into a cohesive real-time control network.
A single Integra controller contains up to four EIA-485 ports, up to two EIA-232 ports, one 10/100 MB ethernet port, and a dedicated FT-10 port for LonWorks applications. With standard area controller capabilities and multiple configuration modes, Integra provides a web-based graphical user interface, providing users with the means to monitor and modify control system elements from any standard web-browser.
All data processed by Integra controllers can be directed back to Integra Supervisor, a PC-based software package designed to provide server storage of histories, alarms, and many other data elements kept within an Integra controller, creating high-level enterprise capabilities.

Legacy
For nearly two decades, the SageMAX Area Controller empowered AAM’s system architecture to provide connectivity between users of a building, and the control system itself. Introducing distributed control and network area control, this architecture made American Auto-Matrix a global leader in providing Smart Building Solutions.
With the advancements in network-centric technology, AAM continues to support its philosophy of backwards compatibility with the introduction of the Matrix-PNC™.
The Matrix-PNC is a high-speed network controller designed to assist with the migration of SageMAX installation to take advantage of AspectFT technology with less labor and programming required.
Supplying assisted migration of custom logic developed in a SageMAX via SPL, the Matrix-PNC can be used to expand existing system architectures and even phase-out SageMAX Area Controllers. Provided that an existing SageMAX utilizes a current revision of the Sage OS, AspectFT can be used to communicate to legacy devices networked to it, as well as new products like the Matrix-PNC.

Be comfortable with vSTAT®, a Virtual Zone application designed for use with the American Auto-Matrix AspectFT system. Through use of this application, users can access multiple servers anywhere in the world and drill down to specific zones within a facility. Users can change temperature setpoints, occupancy status, fan status, and more. Through AspectFT, vSTAT can even be customized to display and control custom points. Want to turn the lights on or off? vSTAT can be programed to do it! vSTAT also comes with a built in QR Code® Reader for remote navigation within a facility. Through software contained in AspectFT-Studio™, a QR Code can be generated and printed for a specific zone and placed near a thermostat or access point. From there users can scan this code, and with the right user permissions access the zone. With vSTAT you can be comfortable from anywhere.
A QR Code is a 2D barcode that can be scanned using your Smartphone and a QR Code Reader. QR Codes once scanned can launch URLs, mobile pages, initiate phone calls, initiate downloads, and more. If you need a QR Code Reader for your Smartphone visit your device’s app store and search for “QR Code”.
