PHASE-II

REACH-1 Extension—(Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield-15.50 KM)

Compensation package in respect of 195 properties amounting to ₹ 914.00 Crores have been sent to SLAO,

KIADB. SLAO has made payment in respect of 154 properties amounting to ₹ 745.49 crores. .

28(4) Notification in respect of 52 properties required for electrical utility shifting is approved by the

Government and is published in gazette on 14.09.2017. Land Committee is to finalise the land valuation

report. 28(4) notification in respect of 46 properties required for viaduct from Tin Factory to K.R. Puram Station

is pending with Government for approval.

28(4) notification in respect of 11 Properties for Electrical Towers has been approved by the Government and

10 compensation packages in respect of 10 properties is sent to KIADB for payment of compensation.

28(4) notification in respect of 39 properties is required for electrical utilities (additional) and additional lands

from Indian Tin Industries to White field is Approved by the Government and is sent to Government Printing

Press for publication in the Gazette.

28(4) notification in respect of 34 Properties measuring 8294.27 sq meters required for viaduct between Indian

Tin Industries and Lowry has been sent to Government for approval.

28(4) Notification in respect of 8 properties measuring 312.48 Sq meters required for shifting of Electrical

towers is approved by the Government and sent to Government Printing Press for publication in Gazette.

28(4) Notification for lands between Baiyappanahalli and Jyothipura is under preparation.

28(1) and 28(4) Notification in respect of additional land in R1E-235A and revised corrigendum pertaining to

change of names, area and survey number is sent to Government for approval.

Revised compensation packages in respect of 48 properties is under preparation.

REACH-2 Extension—(Mysuru Road Station to Kengeri-6.50 KM)

Compensation packages for 84 properties amounting ₹ 186.06 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB has

made payment in respect of 78 properties amounting to ₹ 165.10 Crores .

JMC of 8 additional properties is sent to ADLR for counter signature.

JMC sketch in respect of 18 properties pertaining to Challaghatta Depot measuring 43865 sq. mtrs is verified

by SLAO and the observations made by him are being attended to.

Joint Measurement sketch in respect of Challaghatta Depot for the area notified earlier is verified by SLAO

and observations made by him are being attended to.

REACH-3C Extension—(Nagasandra to Bangalore International Exhibition Centre-3.00 KM)

Compensation packages in respect of 62 properties amounting to ₹ 99.11 Crores have been sent to SLAO,

KIADB. Payment has been made in respect of 48 properties amounting to ₹ 79.68 Crores.

REACH-4B Extension—(Yelachenahalli Cross to Anjanapura Township-6.50 KM)

Compensation packages for 287 properties amounting ₹ 308.85 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB and

payment has been made in respect of 277 properties amounting to ₹ 303.05 Crores.

Land plan for Anjanapura Depot is being revised by the concerned Chief Engineer.

28(4) Notification for additional area of 1005.21 sq. mtrs is approved by Government and is sent to

Government Press for publication in the Gazette.

28(1) Notification in respect of additional property measuring 112.53 sq. mtrs is approved and published in the

Gazette. JMC is under progress.

REACH-5 New Line-(R.V. Road to Bommasandra-18.50 KM)

Out of total 545 properties acquired, compensation packages for 493 properties amounting to ₹ 1336.66

Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB and payment has been made in respect of 275 properties amounting

to ₹ 734.33 Crores.

Notification u/s 28(4) in respect of 72 properties required for Electric Utility Shifting is sent to Spl. DC, KIADB.

28(1) Notification in respect of additional properties required for Jayadeva Station is published in the Gazette.

Joint Measurement is completed and sent to ADLR for approval.

JMC is under progress for 94 properties required for Silk Board Station, Subways, Ramp, Loops and Viaduct

in RV Road to Bommasandra stretch.

REACH-6 New Line-(Gottigere (IIMB) to Nagawara-22.00 KM)

Out of 251 properties, compensation packages in respect of 157 properties amounting ₹ 256.00 Crores have

been sent to SLAO, KIADB for payment. Payment has been made in respect of 18 properties amounting to

₹ 45.06 Crores.

Kothanur Depot –Enquiry U/s 28(3) is completed by SLAO.

28(1) Notifications in respect of additional lands required for above reach and the lands required for Electric

Utility Shifting have been published in the Gazette dated: 02.02.2017 and JMC is completed. For 28(4)

Notification is sent to Government for approval.

28(1) Notification in respect of 7 Underground Stations from Dairy Circle to Shivajinagar is published in the

Gazette on 30.03.2017 and JMC is under progress. JMC for Five stations i.e. Dairy Circle, MICO, Langford,

M.G. Road and Shivajinagar is completed. Notification under section 28(4) will be sent to SLAO, KIADB

shortly.

28(1) Notification in respect of other UG Stations 3 Stations i.e. Pottery Town, Tannery Road, Venkateshpura

is already submitted to SLAO, KIADB on 27.05.2017. JMC is under progress.

Hospital Stn., Satyasai Medicals Stn., ITPL Terminal Stn., Kaadugodi Stn., Ujwala Vidyalaya

Stn. & Whitefield Stn. in the extension on East side of East-West Corridor on Bangalore Metro

Rail Project, Phase – 2

Name of the Contractor :- M/s ITD Cementation India Limited (JV) Two Packages (P1 & P2)

Progress of Package –1A (Reach-1A):-

Land Acquisition:-

Baiyappanahalli to Mahadevapura: 28/4 final notification has been done for 64 nos of properties and

balance 46 properties is in progress. Valuation of all properties(64+46) have been completed. Reach-1A Land

acquisition is in progress. BCS drawings of 9 properties completed from Jyothipura to KR Puram and valuation

of 9 properties is in progress.

Mahadevapura to Satya Sai Hospital: Valuation of properties and final notification has been completed.

Property wise compensation proposals are submitted to KIADB for disbursement to land owners are in

progress.

Satya Sai Hospital to Whitefield: Valuation of properties completed and final notification has been

completed. Property wise compensation proposals are submitted to KIADB. Disbursement to land owners is in

progress.

BESCOM Utilities: 63 numbers identified for shifting of BESCOM utilities such as RMU’s and Transformers.

28/1 Notification has been issued.

Demolition of Buildings / Structures Identified for Acquisition:- The contract for demolition of structures

have already been awarded to M/S B.R. Chawla for the entire stretch of 15.500km. Demolition work is under

progress. 91 numbers of properties are demolished out of 114 Nos and balance 1 is in progress as far as in

Package 1A, balance 22 Nos is yet to start.

Shifting of Water Supply Lines & Underground Drainage (UGD) Lines:- The proposal for affected water

lines has been identified along with BWSSB. Received estimate for Rs.12.90 Crores from BWSSB. An amount of

₹ 4.88 Crores (50% of the cost estimate of ₹ 9.76 Crores) has been deposited to BWSSB. Further ₹1.354 Crores

(50% of the cost estimate of ₹ 2.70 Crores) has been deposited to BWSSB on 23.12.2016. Tender for shifting of

utilities from B. Narayanapura to Kadugodi – BWSSB issued LOA on 31.05.2017. Procurement of material is

under progress. Tender for shifting of utilities from A. Narayanapura to B. Narayanapura– BWSSB has issued

LOA on 18.05.2017. Procurement of material is under progress and Contractor has started excavation work for

laying of 600 mm dia line from Benniganahalli to Jyothipura.

220KV line from SAPLAB (Kundalahalli Station) to Satya Sai Station for about 3.00 km overhead line to be

made underground:- An amount of Rs. 64 Crores has been deposited to KPTCL for taking up the work.

1) For 11 KV Line:

Package-1 Baiyappanahalli to Lowery School – Tender discharge, waiting for GAD.

Package-2 Lowry School to EPIP – Tender Approved, LOA issued to transglobal on 19.07.2017.

Package –3 EPIP to Kadugodi - Tender awarded, agreement under process.

2) For Lamp Pole and Light Poles:

Package-1 Baiyappanahalli to Hoodi and Package–2 Hoodi to Kadugodi, Tenders are under vetting by the

contract section.

For 66 KV line LOA issued to M/S. UNIVERSAL CABLES LTD by KPTCL, work has been started on 2nd May

2017. Cable laying work has been completed in Metro alignment and cable jointing work is in progress.

Viaduct & Stations: along with Road Widening works:-

Reach-1A:

M/s. ITD Cementation India Limited-ITD (JV) vide LOA No BMRCL/Phase2/Reach1A/BYP-VIA/Via &

Stn /2016/14/LOA/ dated 11.04.2017. R1A Contract agreement was signed on 23.05.2017.

Test pile (6 No’s) for initial vertical pile load test and lateral pile load test are completed at Lowery School,

BP221 to BP-222 and Visvesvaraya Industrial Area station. Initial vertical pile load test completed at Lowery

school and reports has been sent to CE P&D for necessary concurrence.

Second and Third Initial vertical pile load test completed at Hoody Circle and Visvesvaraya Station

respectively. Second pile load test reports has been sent to CE P&D for necessary concurrence.

Working pile started at Lowery School, Hoodi Circle and Visvesvaraya Station, total 189 numbers of Piles has

been completed, out of which 88 numbers at station locations (K.R Puram station and Visvesvaraya Industrial

Area Station ) and 101 No’s for viaduct portion near Hoodi Circle & near Mahadevapura.

Three lateral pile load test completed. One at Lowery School on 29.07.2017, second at Visvesvaraya

Industrial Area Station on 30.08.2017 and third one at Hoodi Circle.

Road widening work is in progress in section 5 from BP-228 to BP-223 (RHS 125 m & LHS 125 m) and

BP-252 to BP-268 (RHS 150 m & LHS 125 m) and at Doddanakundi Station.

Road widening work is in progress in section 3 from BP-104 to BP-133 (RHS & LHS).

Road widening work is in progress in section 4 from BP-181 to BP-202 (LHS), BP-208 to BP-215 (LHS),

BP-187 to BP-208 (RHS).

Progress of Package-1B (Reach-1B):-

Building Condition Study and Structural Analysis:- The work has been awarded to M/s. Civil Aid Techno

Clinic Pvt Limited, Bangalore.

The BCS work for the stretch BP-271 to BP-470 is completed.

The BCS work for the stretch BP-471 to Whitefield is balance due to non finalization of alignment.

Valuation of building structures:

The valuation of buildings to be demolished along the alignment between BP-271 to BP-470 is completed.

The work of valuation for the stretch between BP-471 to Whitefield is balance due to non finalization of

alignment.

Demolition of buildings/ structures identified for acquisition: The work of demolition of buildings has

been awarded to M/s. B.R. Chawla for the entire stretch.

The demolition work is in progress in the stretch between BP-271 to BP-470.

Till now, out of 142 properties 65 properties have been demolished.

Shifting of water supply lines and Underground Drainage (UGD) lines:

The affected water supply lines and Underground Drainage Lines are identified along with concerned BWSSB

Engineers for the entire stretch.

Tenders for shifting of Water supply pipe lines and Underground Drainage Lines for the stretch between

B. Narayanapura to Kadugodi have been called by BWSSB. The work has been awarded and LOA issued is

issued to the agencies. The work for shifting of water supply and Underground Drainage Lines works between

B. Narayanapura to Kadugodi is awarded.

The work for shifting of water supply and Underground Drainage Lines has been started on site at various

locations along the alignment.

Electric Utility Shifting :

For 220 KV and 66 KV line LOA issued to M/S. UNIVERSAL CABLES LTD by KPTCL on 27.12.2016, Work

started on 2nd may 2017. Cable laying work has been completed in metro alignment and cable jointing work is

in progress.

Electrical light poles removal work is in progress at various locations along the alignment.

Viaduct and stations (including Road widening works):

The General Arrangement Drawing and land plans have been prepared and after BP-470 alignment is not

finalized.

The Detailed Design and Drawings of viaduct and stations are in progress.

The Road widening plan has been prepared and submitted to Traffic police and permission letter is obtained

from Addnl. Commissioner of Police (Traffic). Road widening work along the alignment will be taken up in

consultation with Traffic police, BBMP etc.

Progress of Package-1B (Reach-1B):-

The work has been awarded to M/s. ITD Cementation India limited –ITD (JV) Vide LOA No. BMRCL /Phase2/

Reach1B/VIA-WTF/Via&Stn/2016/15/LOA/3978 dated 28.04.2017.R1B Contract agreement was signed on

09.06.2017.

Test pile (4 Nos) for initial vertical pile load test and lateral pile load test are completed at Hope Farm and

Lesso location. Two initial vertical and Two lateral load test has been completed.

65 no’s of working pile have been completed in Viaduct portion.

40 no’s of working pile has been completed in Stations.

4 no’s of pile cap has been completed in Viaduct portion.

REACH WISE PROGRESS OF PHASE-2

Pile Boaring work is in progress at Kundanahalli Reinforcement Tieing work is in progress for

Pile Cap concreting work completed at Reach-1B Ujjawala Station C3/P2 Cage Lowering work is in

REACH-2Extension-Reach-2A:- Construction of Elevated Structures of Length 3.945 kms (approx)

from Mysuru Road Station dead end to Pattanagere Station including 4 Nos. of Elevated Metro

Stations viz Nayandahalli Station, Rajarajeshwarinagar Station, Jnanabharathi Station and

Pattanagere Station in the extension on west side of East-West Corridor of Bangalore Metro

Rail Project, Phase-2.

Name of the Contractor :- M/s IL&FS Engineering Construction Company Limited

Total Cost of the Project :- Rs. 327.00 Crores

Shifting of Water Supply Lines & Underground Drainage (UGD) Lines:- The affected water supply line and

Underground Drainage Lines are identified along with concerned BWSSB Engineers for the entire stretch. The

drawings are prepared and submitted to BWSSB for shifting the identified utilities to the new location of utility

corridor. BWSSB has submitted the estimate. According to that BMRCL deposited the estimated amount to

BWSSB. The work has been taken up by BWSSB and completed at Jnanabharathi, Rajarajeshwari Station and

Nayandahalli Station in all respects.

Road Widening Works:- Road Widening works from Nayandahalli to Rajarajeshwarinagar both side

completed and Jnanabharathi Station 100% road works completed and also at Pattanagere station. In Station’s

both side drain work with Road widening/diversion work is in Progress. Retaining wall work is under construction.

The Estimate for road widening from Jnanabharathi to Pattanagere has been submitted by National Highway

PWD Karnataka to BMRCL. The required amount has been deposited by BMRCL for Road Widening purpose for

National Highway, PWD. Road Widening work from Jnanabharathi to R.V College is completed by National

Highway PWD, Karnataka.

Viaduct & Stations:-

The construction of 3.945 KM viaduct and four stations has been awarded to M/s IL&FS construction Pvt Ltd.

and the work is in progress. Uncharted utility checking, Piling, Pile Cap, Pier and Pier Cap works under

progress. Segment Erection for Thirty one spans completed.

In Stations – Pile, Pile cap, Column – Up to Concourse Level and Portal Beam at concourse level casting

work is in progress. Column from Concourse Level to Platform Level and Cross Beam at Platform and Rail

Level under progress at Nayandahalli, BGUC, Jnanabharathi Station. Portal Cross Beam at BGUC completed

at concourse level and nine numbers at Pattanagere Station casting completed, three numbers portal beam at

concourse level casted at Nayandahalli Station and six numbers at Rajarajeshwarinagar Station.

Phase1 incomplete Portal Pier No 438 B Pier has casted

220 KV High Tension Tower line has been shifted from P457 & P473 and piling work also completed for this

pier.

Precast concrete works of Segment Casting, I Girder Casting under Progress at Casting Yard. Parapet casting work under progress at casting yard. Piling work 100% completed in all the four stations. Nayandahalli, Rajarajeshwari, Jnanabharathi and Pattanagere station. The site office for field work has been establish at Deepanjalinagar Property Development area. 59 Nos of Span Segment Casting is completed for Viaduct

LG – 1 = Segment Erection work is under progress and Twenty seven numbers of Spans erected.

LG – 2 = Segment erection work is under progress and Twenty Five Span erected from P571.

REACH-2Extension-Reach-2B:- Construction of Elevated Structures (Viaduct) of length of

4.869 Kms. (approx.) from Pattanagere Station (excluding) to beginning of Challagatta Depot

including 2 Nos of Elevated Metro Stations viz. Mailasandra Station and Kengeri Station in the

extension on west side of E-W Corridor on Bangalore Metro Rail Project, Phase – 2

Name of the Contractor :- M/s Soma Enterprise Limited,

Total Cost of the Project :- Rs. 332.00 Crores

Land Acquisition:- The land acquisition for Reach-2B from Pattanagere Station to Kengeri Arch Bridge is

complete and the land is in position with BMRCL. From Kengeri Arch Bridge to Challaghatta Depot the preliminary

notification for acquisition has been issued for Joint Measurement is in progress.

Building Condition Study & Structural Analysis:- The work has been awarded to M/s Civil Aid Techno

Clinic Pvt Ltd. and the work has been completed from Pattanagere Station to Kengeri Arch Bridge from Kengeri

Arch Bridge to Challaghatta the work is in progress.

Demolition of Buildings / Structures Identified for Acquisition:- The work has been awarded M/s Binyas

Contech Pvt Ltd and M/s Sai Retro Fabs. The work has been completed from Pattanagere station to Kengeri Arch

Bridge from Kengeri Arch Bridge the work will commence after acquisition of properties.

Road Widening Works:- From Pattanagere Station to NICE Road the Road Widening work has been

started by National Highway PWD Karnataka. 97% of the work is completed.

Viaduct & Stations:- The construction of 4.869 KMs Viaduct and Stations has been awarded to M/s SOMA

Enterprises Limited and the work is in progress.

Test Pile :- Two numbers of Initial Vertical Pile Load test is completed for the Viaduct. Barricading work is

in progress. Working Pile:- The work is in progress.

Casting Yard at Kanminike near Bidadi:- Two numbers of Batching Plant, Segment Casting Bed is in

progress. The site office for field work has been established at

Deepanjalinagar, Property Development area. All other prelimi-

nary works is under progress.

Physical progress for the month of September 2017 is as below:

REACH-3Extension-Reach-3C:- Extension line of Reach-3b of Phase-1 on Northern Corridor from

Hessaraghatta Cross to Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) viz

Manjunathanagara Stn., Jindal Stn., & BIEC Stn. The section length is 3.77 Kms with

3 Stations and fully Elevated Section.

Name of the Contractor :- M/s Simplex Infrastructures Limited.

Total Cost of the Project :- ` 298.65 Crores, Letter of Acceptance is issued on 27.02.2017.

Land Acquisition:- Payment of compensation towards acquired land and taking over of land by KIADB is

under progress. Handing over of land to the Engineering section part by part is under progress. Out of 62 private

properties, 38 Nos. of properties are handed over to Engineering section for execution of work. 30 properties are

clear from any issues.

Demolition of Buildings / Structures Identified for Acquisition:- The work of demolition of buildings has

been awarded to M/s. SAI Retro Fabs for entire stretch. Out of 54 properties to be demolished. 12 properties have

been demolished.

Viaduct & Stations (including Road Widening works):- Issue of GFC drawings is in progress from the

Design wing of BMRCL. The process for obtaining permission for use of NHAI service road/ROW for construction

of viaduct and stations of Bangalore Metro Rail is under progress, with NHAI.

Notice to proceed to start the work has been issued on 27.04.2017 to the contractor, M/s. Simplex Infrastructures

Limited.

Development of casting yard is under progress. Project office of Simplex is ready at casting yard. Quality lab

set up has been completed and calibration of equipment's completed. Erection of one no. of batching plant is

complete and its calibration completed. Bed preparation for gantry is complete and gantry (15MT) erection is

under progress. Preparation of segment casting beds is under progress.

Fabrication and erection of barricading boards is in progress.

Trial trenches for identifying utilities over Pile Cap location is in progress at Manjunatha Nagar Station.

Construction of 100 Rmt drain at Manjunatha Nagar Station completed except drain cover.

4 nos. of Test pile & 10 working pile at Manjunatha Nagar Station is casted as on September 2017.

Initial vertical pile load testing arrangements of 3 No’s of test pile is under progress.

15 nos. of Borehole for soil investigation is complete as on date and 2 no’s are under progress.

Fabrication of one set of segment molds and pier & pier cap shutters are completed at fabrication work shop.

from Puttenahalli Cross Station to Anjanapura Township Station and further viaduct

including 5 Nos. of Elevated Metro Stations Viz. Anjanapura Road Cross Station, Krishna

Leela Park Station, Vajrahalli Station, Thalaghattapura Station and Anjanapura Township

Station.

Name of the Contractor :- M/s Nagarjuna Constructions Company Limited.

Total Cost of the Project :- Rs. 508.86 Crores.

Viaduct & Stations:-

The work of Construction of this Project is awarded to M/s Nagarjuna Constructions Company Limited and the

work is in progress.

All Works like Barricading, Cross trenching, Piling, Pile caps, Piers and Pier caps, Road widening, Drain works

etc. are in progress along Viaduct.

Works like Drain works, Service Road and Foundation works are in progress at Anjanapura Cross Road

Station, Krishna Leela Park Station, Vajarahalli Station, Thalaghattapura Station & Anjanapura Township

Station.

678 nos of Piles out of 1028 piles are completed for Viaduct structures.

739 nos of Piles out of 830 piles are completed for Station locations.

140 nos of Pile caps out of 222 nos are completed for Viaduct structures.

Casting Yard:- NCCL has set up their Casting Yard on 20 Acres of land near Agara Cross (near Tataguni

village), 4km away from EP344 (last pier of R4B Project)

The following activities are in progress at the Casting Yard:

Setting up of Batching plants, 60cum/hr & 30cum/hr.

Segment and PSC I-Girder casting beds.

Setting up of site office, stores, QA/QC lab, etc.

3 nos of 20T, 1 no. of 80T& 1 no of 120T Gantries are erected & commissioned.

5 Long line & 5 Short line Beds are commissioned for Segment casting (One Bed for Curved Span).

8 Beds are commissioned for I-girder casting (Pre-tensioned I-Girders).

11 Beds are commissioned for I-girder casting (Post-tensioned I-Girders).

Reinforcement works for Piles, Pile caps, Piers, Pier caps, I-Girders, Segments and drains are in progress.

Pre-Casting of Segments, I-Girders, Parapets and drains are in progress.

Casting of Segments 1025 nos are completed out of 1914 numbers.

Casting of Pre-Tensioned I-Girders 272 nos are completed out of 425 numbers.

Casting of Post-Tensioned I-Girders 67 numbers out of 240 numbers are completed.

Casting of Parapets 37 numbers out of 4018 numbers are completed.

REACH-5 (New Line) R V Road Station to Bommasandra Station viz. R V Road Stn., Ragigudda Stn., Ja-

yadeva Hospital (Interchange) Stn., BTM Layout Stn., Central Silk Board Stn., HSR

Layout Stn., Oxford College Stn., Muneshwaranagar Stn., Chikkabegur Stn., Basa-

pura Road Stn., Hosa Road Stn., Electronic City-1 Stn., Electronic City-2 Stn.,

Huskur Road Stn., Hebbagodi Stn., Bommasandra Stn. The section length is

18.82 Kms with 16 Stations fully Elevated Section. R V Road Station is on

existing North-South Corridor with passenger interchange.

Building Condition Study & Structural Analysis:- The work has been awarded to M/s. Civil Aid Techno

Clinic Pvt Ltd., Bangalore.

The BCS work for the stretch between Central Silk Board to Bommasandra is completed.

The BCS for the section between Central Silk Board to RV Road stretch is in progress.

Demolition of Buildings / Structures Identified for Acquisition:- The work of demolition of buildings has

been awarded to M/s. B.R. Chawla for the entire stretch. The demolition work is in progress in the stretch between

Central Silk Board and Bommasandra.

Shifting of Water Supply Lines & Underground Drainage (UGD) Lines :- The affected water supply lines

and Underground Drainage lines are identified along with concerned BWSSB Engineers for the entire stretch.

Tenders for shifting of Water supply pipe lines and Underground Drainage lines for the stretch between RV Road

Junction and Central Silk Board have been called by BWSSB. The work has been awarded and Letter of

Acceptance (LOA) is issued to the agencies. The work for shifting of water supply and Underground Drainage

works between Central Silk Board and Bommasandra is awarded and LOA is issued to the agencies and shifting

of water supply lines is in progress.

BMRCL has proposed modifications in location of service road to the extreme western edge along NH on Hosur

Road. This proposal is already presented to NHAI. The present utility corridor will not be disturbed resulting in

minimum shifting of existing UG utilities wherever there is infringement with metro structures. Trial trenches are

being taken for identification of UG utilities for confirming infringement with metro structures.

Valuation of Building Structures:-

The valuation of buildings to be demolished between Central Silk Board to Muneshwaranagar is completed for

this section.

The work of valuation for the stretch between Central Silk Board and RV Road is in progress. 66/113

properties valuation of buildings/properties are completed and submitted to land section.

Viaduct & Stations (Including Road Widening works):-

The General Arrangement drawing and land plans have been prepared.

The permission for use of NHAI service road for construction of viaduct and stations by NHAI of Bangalore

Metro Rail between Central Silk Board and Bommasandra is obtained from NHAI. The MOU (Memorandum of

Understanding) has been entered between NHAI & BMRCL.

The Detailed Design Consultancy work is already awarded to M/s. Systra for the entire section from RV Road

to Bommasandra.

The Detailed Design and Drawings of viaduct and stations are in progress. The Road widening plan has been

prepared and submitted to Traffic police and permission letter is obtained from Addl. Commissioner of Police

(Traffic).

The proposed traffic diversion plan along Marenahalli Road/ORR has been shown to the concerned Traffic

police. The approval for the same is expected shortly.

Road widening work along ORR will be taken up in consultation with Traffic police, BBMP etc.

The Tenders are awarded for Package –1, Package-2 & Package-3 of Reach 5 Line for Construction of

Viaduct and Stations of packages between

Bommasandra to Hosa Road of 6.4 Kms length (Package-1) :- The work of construction of viaduct and

stations between Bommasandra-Hosa Road of 6.4Km length is awarded. The casting yard is being

established by the agency at Chandapura Road. Casting and testing of test piles is completed. The trial

trenching work is completed for identification of UG utilities for confirmation of infringement with metro

structures. The drain work has commenced in available land stretches.

Hosa Road to HSR Layout of 6.4 Kms length (Package-2) :- The work of construction of viaduct and

stations between Hosa Road - HSR Layout of 6.4Km length is awarded. The casting yard is being established

by the agency at Chandapura Road. Casting and testing of test piles is completed. The trial trenching work is

completed for identification of UG utilities for confirmation of infringement with metro structures. The drain

work has commenced in available land stretches.

HSR Layout to R V Road of 6.34 Kms length (Package-3):- The work of construction of viaduct and

stations between HSR Layout to RV Road of 6.34Km length is awarded. The casting yard is being established

by the agency at Hommadevanahalli on Banneraghatta Road-. Road widening work in the stretch between

RV Road to Ragigudda is in progress. Tree Transplantation work is in progress.
