The ten piece ensemble boasts some of the finest string players from Oberlin Conservatory as well as world renowned percussionist Jamey Haddad. This new ensemble will be recording its debut album on Origin Records in December 2015. Hendectet Jazz Collective | January 2015 - Present Eleven piece chamber jazz ensemble. The collective explores the sounds of a jazz collective as well as a chamber wind ensemble. Original compositions and arrangements by leader Bobby Selvaggio and members Brad Wagner, Chris Anderson, Sam Blakeslee, Mark Russo, and Chris Coles. The No Words Quintet | April 2014 - Present This high energy modern quintet was inspired by the compositional style of Dave Holland. The quintet performs all original compositions stretching harmony and time signature, while exploring new sounds and improvisational methods. The Way of Being Ensembles | November 2013 – April 2015 The way of being ensembles consisted of the Shake Trio and The Grass Roots Movement. The Shake trio performed all off Bobby’s original compositions stylistically ranging from straight ahead jazz, to drum and bass, to bembe, and so forth. The Grass Roots Movement was a funk quartet performing original compositions as well as arrangements from The Police and Stevie Wonder. Sam Blakeslee Ensembles | November 2014 – Present The Sam Blakeslee Quartet | June 2015 - Present This quartet boasts some of Northeast Ohio’s finest, performing standards and originals in a funk style. The group is dedicated to making improvisational music relatable to a larger audience by using style and groove to invite anyone to listen. The Sam Blakeslee Large Ensemble | November 2014 - Present Sam is dedicated to composing and creating unique sounds in the big band idiom. This large ensemble features several of the members as composers as well as improvisers. A two day event in December will feature the band as well as New York pianist and composer Dorian Wallace.

Special Blend Wedding/Event Band | July 2014 – Present

A nine piece band focusing on weddings, parties, corporate events, etc.

The band performs classics from the disco, rock, and funk eras as well as favorites from today’s pop charts.

First Congregational Church of Hudson | January 2013 – Present

Tom Scott, band leader, employs a large variety of styles in this contemporary worship band.

Selected to perform at the 2015 UCC General Synod Event at the Cleveland Convention Center.

The Dustin May Quartet | November 2014 – Present

Perform the music of some of our favorite composers including Miguel Zenón, Robert Glasper and Herbie Hancock.

Private and club dates allowed the ensemble to feature above repertoire as well as their original arrangements of jazz

standards.

The Teddy Pantelas Trio | 2011– Present

Explored Teddy’s music with a variety of different bass players including Dave Morgan, Tim Powell, Jeff Grubbs, Mike Forfia,

Pat Crossley, Wilbur Krebs, Clifford Barnes, and many more.

Teddy has an extensive book of original music and arrangements of jazz standards.

Dr. Freshbutter | February 2011 – December 2014

High energy jazz/rock fusion quartet that featured original music and arrangements of works by Miguel Zenón, Vijay Iyer,

Claude Debussy, Robert Glasper, John McLaughlin, Weather Report, Mike Stern, and many more.

Freelance Experience | 2008 – Present

In addition to the above mentioned ensembles I have had the pleasure of freelancing with many more musicians including:
