Definition:- DLPS is a kind of automatic lightning protection control system, which is applied to automatically calculate and carry out the dynamic preventive actions for a Smart Grid/power grid.
Dynamic protection actions of DLPS are:-1) Optimizing Smart Grid operation mode2) Adjusting Smart Grid power flow distribution with
robust control3) Controlling generation units4) Switching the Microgrids or its control strategies

Conclusion It focuses on protecting the whole electric
grid in its entirety, instead of individual components.
It minimize the impacts of lightning-caused disturbances, trips and interruptions, and improving the robustness of a Smart Grid transmission system.
DLPS automatically carries out dynamic protective actions in advance and enhancing the transmission system reliability.
