Task 1 :Conduct Interviews

As rightly said “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Core members of Ecell SLRTCE had conducted an interview session of students from Second year. The session went on for the entire day. 50 students from all branches, Computer, IT, EXTC, ETRX, CIVIL and mechanical had participated in interview process. In order to get the best out the crowd questions were asked on the criteria of:

Leadership quality

Technical skills

Managing skills

Marketing skills

Entrepreneurial environment

Students had to answer the asked questions and best among them were filtered who has these qualities and can work with all the dedication.

Task2:Creating Social Media Presence

This was accomplished by creating accounts on social media and keeping the

accounts and page active with inspiring content on the following:

Task 3:Quiz

July 2019, the newly recruited members and existing members of the Entrepreneurship Cell of SLRTCE came together and gathered in the Incubation Centre of the college to begin their National Entrepreneurship Challenge journey.

The gathering started with an interactive and informative session among the enthusiasts where they could introduce themselves and the goals and visions for their current or future business plans. Each idea was appreciated and well received by the existing members of E-Cell with constructive feedback and support from their side. Discussions about startups in India, their significance and problems commonly faced by entrepreneurs took place, at the end of which the E-Cell team came up with some solutions to tackle the problems and nurture the growing number of entrepreneurs in India. The interactive session and orientation was soon followed by a fun quiz on entrepreneurs of India to lighten up the mood and share value knowledge and insights to the new members.

Following that, creative minds of the team came up with several logos and designs for E-Cell SLRTCE and the new logo was finalized. Understanding the importance of social presence in entrepreneurship, the team created social media accounts on various platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in order to connect with aspiring entrepreneurs and other E-Cell teams throughout India and form a strong community among ourselves. E-Cell SLRTCE was not just a team any more, we were a brand !

All the members of the E-Cell team were given a subtask by the end of the session as per their domain of expertise and thus, the journey towards NEC began.

Task 4: Branding of E-cell

Logo was designed after various suggestions from all members. There was

meeting held and all possible ways to brand our ecell was discussed.

Finally we came up with batches for all members as an identity.Flex was decided.

On whatsapp group,all discussion related to meetings take place and all the

whereabouts of task are updated there.

On facebook and instagram, our ecell and its activities are promoted to all the like

minded people

On 17th September 2019,a seminar was conducted on the topic

“Entrepreneurship and leading the world with managing skills” by speaker

MRS.APOORVA MULANI at the seminar hall. The event was attended by 141

students and was a great success. The preparation for this event began on 13th

September.All members wholeheartedly participated with great enthusiasm. She

guided us with some great insights on entrepreneurial ecosystems and motivated

everyone by some examples of successful startups. It was an interactive session.

Task 8: Pitching Competition

On 19 October,Ecell SLRTCE had conducted a pitching competition whereby

students from various branches had participated in groups and presented their

business models. Individuals spoke on various ideas that included

And various other ideas.

The winner was Ismail Nakhwa with his innovative ideas to solve difficulties in

wardrobe and kitchen compartments.

Task 9: Pitching workshop

Ms Sheetal Shetty from connecting dreams had conducted a workshop for Ecell

members which included hands on training and practical sessions for managing

startups efficiently.A case was given which the students had to work on.Groups

of four students were made and task were given.
