havesomuchrespectforyou.Wecannotfullyunderstandhowconfusingthistimemustbe;filledwithdifficultemotionsyoumustbeexperiencing.Wethinkyouaresobraveformakingthisincrediblyselflessdecisionfor

Weareover-the-moonexcitedaboutgrowingourfamilythroughadoptionandproudofthejourneythathas

broughtushere.WebothwereraisedintheChristianfaithandhavealwayshadaheartforadoption.Wehavebothhadastrongdesireanddreamsofbecomingparents,especiallyover thepast fouryearswhilestruggling with unexplained infertility. We have done multiple protocols, IVF transfers, surgery and,

unfortunatelyexperiencedtheheartbreakofloss.Wehavedecidedthatthebestwaytogrowourfamily isthroughadoptionandwecouldn'tbemoreexcited.

Wepromisetoloveandcherishyourbaby.Theywillgrowupinasupportive,stable,loving&joyfilledhome.A homewith parents thatwill always encourageand support their dreamsandaspirations.Wewill teachthemtoloveGod,loveothers,andlovethemselves.Wewillcelebratetheirachievementsandsupportthemintheirstruggles.Ourhomewillbeonefilledwithlaughterandunconditionallove.Wecanassureyouthatyourpreciouslittleonewillhaveafulllife,maybenotaperfectonebutonetheywillbeproudtocalltheirown.

Weweremarriedonarainybutbeautiful

day in May in Savannah, Georgia

surrounded by many of our family and

friends.Ourweddingwas full of southern

charm and Jessie's dad performed the

ceremony, which was held outside. Our

wedding was truly a fairy tale and we

rodeoff inahorsedrawncarriagetoour

receptionwherewedancedandmingled

with our family and friends all night. We

have been married for seven years now

andwouldn'tchangeathing!

WemetthespringofourJunioryearincollege.Wehititoffright

away;inseparablefromthatmomenton.Wedatedforthreeyears

withourdatesconsistingofexploringourlittlecollegetown,going

onhikes,dinnerandmovies,collegefootballgamesandlakedays.

OURWEDDING

DAY

Wehave hada strongdesire and longing for children from the

beginning of our relationship and our desire to pursue adoption

hasonlygrownstrongerinthepastfewyears,especiallyafterall

ourfertilityissues.Ourheartsandhomehavesomuchroomfora

childandwearesoexcitedtostartourfamily!

BECOMINGPARENTS

I currentlyworkatamajor telecommunications companyasaSeniorManager inourBusinessOperations

department.Myrolerequiresmetoserveasaninternalfinancialconsultantforallourcustomer-facingsaleschannelsandtheirrespectivestrategyleaders.

I'vebeenlookingforwardtobecomingafatherforsolong.Iamexcitedtosharemyloveofsportswithourchildren.Growingup,sportsplayedamajorrole inmy life. Ibegantoplayorganizedsportsat theageofthreeandcontinuedthroughmycollegeyears. Imetsomeofthebestfriendsinmylifeonthebaseballandfootballfields.Outsideofthefriendshipsmadeandlessonslearned,IalwaysrememberthetimesIsharedwithmyparents.Sometimestheywereproudandhappymoments,scoringmyfirsttouchdownorsigningacollegescholarship.Other times theywere sad, likewalkingoff the field aftermy final high school football game.Despitetheemotions, Icanalwayslookbackandpicturemyparents'faces. I lookforwardtosharingthose

momentswithmychild,whethertheyarecallingmecoach,orIaminthestandscheeringthemon,orifweareinthestandstogetherwatchingoneofourfavoriteteamsplay.

My greatest prayer for our child is that they would live a life protected from hardship and find anunencumberedpathtowhateverdreamsGodhasputintheirheart.

Kevinisthemanofmydreams.Iknewfromthevery

firstmoment I saw him that hewasmyperson. The

things that first attracted me to him was how

handsomeandwittyhewas.Icontinuetoadmirehis

loyalty, his realist perspective on life, his desire to

provideforhisfamilyandhisleadershipandlovefor

the Lord. Kevin is hardworking, trusting, athletic,

smart(everyonewantshimontheirteamfortrivia),a

great cook and he loves deeply.. Kev has an

infectiouspersonalityandastrongdesire toprotect

thoseheloves.Hespendshisdaysgoingaboveand

beyond to provide for his family and then comes

homeandcooksdinner forus.He ismybest friend

andthebestpersonIknow.

Kevinwillbeanamazingdadashehassomeofthe

bestrolemodelstolookupto. . .mydadandhis.He

valuesfamilytimeandisfiercelyprotective.Heloves

his children and share in that passion.Growing up

IamaRegisteredNurse.Icurrentlyworkforanoutpatientorthopedicsurgerycenter.Iworkfourdaysaweek

andhaveoffweekendsandholidays.Thesurgerycenter Iworkfor isveryfamilyfriendlyandflexible.Ourplanistotakefulladvantageof leaveforthreemonthsoncethebabycomeshomeandthengopart-time,whichwouldbe twodaysofworkaweek. Theotherdays that Iwouldbeatworkweplan toutilizeourfamilies,whichliveclosebyandcancometoourhouseduringtheday.

The thought of finally becoming a parent brings so much joy and emotion to my heart and soul. I havedreamedofthisdayforaslongasIcanremember.Iamexcitedtosharemyfuturewithasweetbaby.OnethatIcanbringupintothisworldknowingthegoodnessofourGod,beingapartofourlargesweetfamily,andteachingthemcompassionfortheworldaroundthem.OneofthebiggestthingsIamlookingforwardtomost is sharingmypure loveand joy forall thingsChristmas. Thewhole season ismagical,and Ianxiously

awaitthestartoftheChristmasseasonallyearlong.

JessisthebestpersonIknowandtheloveofmylife.

Ihonestlydon'tknowwhereI'dbeinlifewithouther

constant love, encouragement, and support. Jess'

love language isphysical touch,whichmeans there

aren'tmanymoments thatgoby inour life together

where she hasn't foundaway to holdmy handor

cuddleupnexttomeonthecouch.Shecomesfrom

an extremely tight knit family, which has carried

over into ourmarriage and is sure to translate into

her life as a parent. She has always had a strong

desire tocare forpeople.Shehelped takecareof

both of her parents as they fought their respective

battles with cancer and leveraged that nurturing

naturetopursueacareerinthefieldofnursing.Jess

wears her heart on her sleeve and will never

hesitatetofilltheroomwithemotion.Shemakesme

laughwithherquickwitandsassycomebacks.

From the bottom of my heart, I know that Jess is

going to make a tremendous mother. The support

systemshehaswithallthemothersinherlifewould

never let her fail. Going through the struggles of

infertilityhasonlydeepenedher love forour future

familyand Icannotwait towatchher step intoher

roleasamother.

Ourhome sits ona residential street in the suburbs

withinabig city in theSouth.We live ina recently

builtcraftsmanstylehomethatsitsonapproximately

1/3ofanacre.Ourbackyardislargeandfencedin;

perfect for playing and running around with the

dogs.Wehavefivebedrooms,fourandahalfbaths

andafinishedbasement.Ourhouseisanopenfloor

plan with lots of room to dance around in the

kitchen, play hide and go seek, and cuddle up on

our screened-in back porch enjoying family time

together.

Within our community there is a public parkwith a

playgroundandpool.Wearebest friendswithour

neighborsandspendmanyeveningstogetherinour

frontyardsordoingdinnerstogether.Theyhavetwo

youngchildren thatwearecertainwillmakegreat

playmates.Ourcommunity isalsodiversewithmany

ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our

communitydoeswelltobringeveryonetogetherfor

festivals, pumpkin patches, parades and Christmas

festivities. Theareawe live in is verywalkableand

we can easily access restaurants and the nearby

parks.

BamaandSavannahareoursweetdogs.Bothdogs

areveryplayfulandsmart.Theyare loyalandlove

us unconditionally. They love people and are very

gentletowardseveryone.Theyaresweetandgentle

around children and we are excited for them to

becomethebestprotectivebigsisters.

Myrelationshipwithmyfamily isaverycloseandspecialone.Mysistersaremybest friendsandwetalk

every day.Caitlin lives inArizona andAlex lives close by, as domy parents.We spendmanyweekends

Weregularlyseebothsidesofmyfamilyandcommunicatewiththeminsomefashionnearlyeveryday.They

grandparents,aunts,anduncles.

Thanksgiving,Easterandthesummerholidays.Christmasisspecialforusaswetryandspendqualitytimewith

all our family aswell as settingasideChristmasmorning tobeat home.Christmasmorning hasbecomea

special tradition for just the twoof us.WewakeupChristmasmorningandKevinmakes usbreakfast.We

splurgewithfancycroissantsandwestartafirewhileChristmasmusicisplayinginthebackground.Westart

withourstockingsandgivethedogstheirbow-tiedbones.Afterwards,weopenourgiftsforeachotherand

enjoy the magic of Christmas before the crazy of the day begins. We are excited for what our future

Christmas seasonswill look likewithachild.Weare soexcited to introduce them toour traditions.Baking

sugar cookies, singingChristmas songs, opening presents, and eating a big dinner are just a fewof those

Ourchurchfamilyprovidesagreatdealofsupportandcoversusinprayerconstantly.Therearemanyyoungcouples that attend our church and have young children.Our childwill have playmates that theywill be

growingupwithinthechurchencouragingoneanotherandlearningtoprayforeachotherallwhilelearningBiblestoriesandattendingvacationBibleschooleverysummer.

OurplansaretosendourchildtoprivateschoolwheretheywillreceiveahighqualityChristianeducation.Sinceweareinthecitylimits,weknowthiswillhelpsurroundthemwithdiversityandhealthyfriendships.Wevalueeducationaboveallbutalsoareexcitedabouttheopportunitiesforextracurricularactivitiesandsportsthatcanbeoffered.

We will strongly encourage our child to pursue a college education, stressing the importance of highereducationandalwaysstrivingfortheverybestinlife.Ofcourse,thedecisiontopursuecollegeisultimately
