e-Family Communication Weekly Update Principal's Letter December 17, 2019 Dear St. Pius X School Families & Community, We are very excited to see you at our Christmas program this Thursday, December 19. Our program begins in the church with our school band performance and then the presentation of the Nativity. Students should arrive at 5:45 pm to the Social Hall in their Christmas best; teachers will take it from there. We will be taking up a collection as well. Here's more information from our 7th grade class: As was announced last week, we as a seventh grade class have adopted an Orca from the Puget Sound named Whistle. To clarify, this adoption is symbolic. This month is his rst birthday, and we decided to celebrate it on Monday with oreo cookies. For his birthday we are going to hold a coin drive this week at lunch and at the Christmas Program. The money donated will go to the whale museum for research that could possibly save the life of marine animals. The Orcas are endangered, which is why we decided to do this act of kindness. As students in a Catholic school, we are being disciples of Christ by saving God's creations and reaching out to people to help us. With your donations, you could all do the same! Thank you all for your donations and God bless! Thank you for leading the way 7th graders!

Christmas Program – On Thursday, December 19th at 6:00 PM, the students will illustrate the meaningof Christmas by performing The Nativity. The performance will be in the Church but the students willmeet in the Fr. Fox Social Hall at 5:45 PM. Please have your child(ren) dressed in their Christmas dressclothes. Our school band will begin the program with a performance in the church. NO AFTERNOON ESS – Please note there will be no afternoon ESS on Friday, December 20th inobservance of the Christmas Holiday.
