Management

A Web Based Application for Watershed Development Component of PMKSY (erstwhile IWMP) (http://iwmpmis.nic.in)

An Integrated System to facilitate collaboration among all stake holders

to monitor 8214 Watershed Projects implemented in 28 States covering

594 districts

The system facilitates

• Sanction of fund of IWMP projects and Institutional Funding

• Online tracking of transfer of funds (Project fund + Institutional

fund)

• Online reporting of Expenditure of Project fund & Institutional

Fund

• Project Baseline survey

• Capture Physical and Financial Annual Action Plan

• Submission of monthwise Physical and Financial achievement

• Online submission of Convergence Details

• Facilty to upload the documents on Best practices/Innovations for

knowledge sharing

Monitoring of the physical and financial progress through various reports at all

levels (DoLR/State/District/PIA). All the information is available in public domain.

System is operational from more than eight years since Jan 2011 and

maintaining the centralized database for all the IWMP projects

Training provided to all stakeholders of 28 States and a National level workshop

conducted at DoLR to train Master trainers.

An Online Help desk is active for support of States/Districts/PIAs

Road Ahead


• A strong review and monitoring is required at DoLR/SLNA

level at regular interval.

• Need to develop the capacity of SLNAs/WCDCs/PIAs at

regular interval. • By active role of SLNA MIS Co-ordinator/Master Trainers.

• Due to a high attrition rate of contractual manpower

• Quality Check of Data at SLNA/DoLR level is required. • This may be done by analyzing the reports and intimate to the

concerned officer/staff for correction.

• Expenditure data for each financial year should match with

UC of State uploaded by DoLR.

• Changes are being made at all interfaces to migrate on

updated platform and to shift on Cloud (Meghraj)
