WHY eLF – eLearning Fitness ?
In the realm of Fitness:
• several organizations have been established ...
• several successful projects took place ...
Still, today in most (EU) countries we lack:
1. a wide awareness of the key findings among
decision makers, operators, public opinion
2. a wide acceptance of the procedures to
implement it
3. resources to feed the required processes

WHY Information Engineering ?
Not just Technologies, but even Methodologies, useful
for:
1. modeling and analyzing business & organizational
processes (WF models, BPM, ...)
2. implementing and optimizing informational process
(web x.0, social networking, search engines, CMS,
...), with special attention to e-Learning
3. measuring effectiveness and efficiency of processes
(KPI, DW & DM, ...)

Main Goals
1. adoption & improvement of an e-Learning platform
based on the EQF-Fitness minimum standards
(levels 3, 4)
2. creation of a pilot national register platform for
fitness professionals in 10 of the partner countries.
