One Book + One Diocese This spring, the Diocese of Lincoln Evangelization Of-fice is recommending An Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis de Sales. Addressed as a personal letter, the book genuinely represents our desire to lead a devout and holy life, how we should approach God in prayer and the Sacraments, the practice of sixteen important virtues, how to resist temptations and be firm in our practice of devotion. No one will come away without being profoundly impressed and being motivated to begin their spiritual journey . . . Which leads ultimately to God and to Heaven.
