Assembly: I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary, ever-virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

Celebrant: May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.

Assembly: Amen.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.

For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,

(All bow during these two lines.)

and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

The Lord sits as King for ever. The Lord will bless his people with peace.

(Psalm 29:10-11)

(Choir) And I Saw a New Heaven Edgar Leslie Bainton (1880-1956)

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God is with you, and he will dwell with you and you shall be his people, and God himself shall be with you and be your God.And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain,For the former things are passed away.

(Revelation 21:1-4)

Page 13: e N ceptio

(Choir) King of Glory, King of Peace Harold W. Friedell (1905-1958)

King of glory, King of peace, I will love Thee; And, that love may never cease, I will move Thee.Thou hast granted my request, Thou hast heard me;Thou didst note my working breast, Thou hast spared me.Wherefore with my utmost art I will sing Thee,And the cream of all my heart I will bring Thee.Though my sins against me cried, Thou didst clear me,And alone, when they replied, Thou didst hear me.

Seven whole days, not one in seven, I will praise Thee;In my heart, though not in heaven, I can raise Thee. Small it is, in this poor sortTo enroll Thee;Eternity’s too short, too short To extol Thee, to extol Thee.
