A Will and a Way, the auto-
biography of Dr Anthony N Sabga,
was launched at the Central Bank
Auditorium in Port of Spain on
August 26, by Sir Shridath
Ramphal, Chairman of the

Sir Shridath praised the
book as an invaluable record of a

Caribbean.
Recalling that he had also
been the Chancellor of the

quoted from the encomium
read on that occasion, which cele-
brated Dr Sabga’s visionary leader-
ship and entrepreneurial foresight.
The evening was chaired by
Mrs Linda Hadeed, of the ANSA
McAL Foundation, and Dr Sabga’s
eldest daughter. Also speaking was
former chair of the Trinidad &
Tobago CNC, Prof Bridget
Brereton, who oversaw the co-
writing and research with Raymond
Ramcharitar. Mr Howard Sabga
delivered remarks on behalf of Joe
Sabga (Dr Sabga’s brother-in-law),
and Stuart McKenna, a friend and
relative by marriage, also spoke on
how the idea of a biography of Dr
Sabga came about through their
conversations.
