SAVE WATER FOR A BETTER WORLD
An innovative solution for sustainable water management

WHO WE ARE
AQUARTIS DELIVERS SOLUTIONS THAT MOVE
COMMUNITIES TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE
WATER MANAGEMENT
AQUARTIS designs and manufactures water recycling systems that turn wastewater or rainwater from buildings into
high quality recycled water for toilets flushing, landscape irrigation and other non-potable applications.
All of our solutions share the same fondamental purposes : Reduce the potable water consumption of a building or a
community and allow surrounding aquifer to get a sustainable recharge cycle.
Cities are consistently growing and urbanization increases at an impressive rate putting enourmous pressure on our
fresh water ressources. Water recycling is unavoidable and is imposing itself as the new normal in many parts of the
world.
We believe that every individuals should make reasonnable efforts to use water as efficiently as possible but we
especially believe that to get real and sustainable results, buildings needs to be engineered in a way that anybody can
recycle a large portion of its water without requiring additional efforts or comfort sacrifices. We believe that
technologies and innovations are key elements of a successful and realistic transition towards a widespread water
recycling era and it’s the construction industry’s responsability to move towards it and make the right choices.

OUR VALUES
At AQUARTIS, we strongly trust that despite water is a scares and vital ressource that shall be protected at all cost,
integration of a water recycling culture should follow a very strict and methodological pathern in order to garantee that
water savings does not endanger public health.
Consequently, all our technologies are designed and manufactured around three important values:
1. SAFETY
Systems coming out of our factory produce very high quality recycled water compliant with the requirements of
NSF-350, the most recognized and demanding international standard within the water recycling industry. This
level of water quality is critical in order to guarantee a risk free environment for users. AQUARTIS systems do
not aim to produce potable water since the main concept of water recycling is to use locally recycled water
where potable water quality is not required. The aim of AQUARTIS systems is to produce recycled water that can
be used safely in environments where humans and animals can come in contact with and that is visually not
different from potable water. Preservation of this precious resource must not be done at the expense of our
comfort.
2. RELIABILITY
In no circumstances should a water recycling system be allowed to fall into a sloppiness spiral and endanger
health of its users. Water recycling, whether it is rainwater, greywater or blackwater, involves advanced
treatment process that needs to be maintained and overseen responsibly. In order to provide un-equalized
reliability, AQUARTIS has engineered AQUACARE™; this unique technology featured in most ECOVISION®
systems is composed of a number of high-quality sensors and probes, including electromagnetic water meters,
electricity consumption meter, level sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors and inline water quality monitoring
sensors dedicated to oversee every steps of the treatment process. AQUACARE™ allows the publication of
trends reports on every aspects of systems operations.
Furthermore, ECOVISION® systems are controlled by state-of-the art IP-based processor allowing absolute
control over performances, 24/7. IP-based feature of AQUARTIS processor allows remote control capacity which
enable system’s operators to control them from anywhere in the world using a PC, a tablet or a smartphone.
Because reliability is a priority, AQUARTIS only use treatment technologies and components that have been
successfully operating within the industry for decades.
3. EFFICIENCY
AQUARTIS has commited to provide technologies that maximize water recovery while minimizing energy
consumption. Our systems are engineered to be cost effective and to require the smallest possible footprint.
AQUARTIS systems are also engineered to ease their integration in new construction projects and to enable
conversion of existing buildings.

WHY RECYCLE WATER
WHAT CAN WE DO WITH RECYCLED WATER Important fact: Recycled water is always considered non-potable. Our advanced technologies produce high-quality,
colorless, and odorless water compliant with NSF-350, the industry’s most widely recognized international standard.
Recycled water is generally used for toilet flushing, outdoor irrigation, laundry, vehicle washing, household cleaning, and
a variety of industrial applications. Depending on regulations in force in your community, uses of recycled water may
sometimes be restricted. Contact us for details.
Wherever recycled water comes from and whatever it is used for, safety and reliability must always come first to avoid
health risks and failures. Trust our team of professionals and contact us to discuss your project.
Significant cost savings The costs of potable water and wastewater
purification are constantly on the rise. Recycling is an investment that pays off
because it drastically reduces the amount of water used in a building.
Progress towards green building certifications
Water is a major factor in environmental certifications.
Thanks to AQUARTIS technologies, you can earn points in several
categories.
Less wastewater discharged The strain on public sewer systems and
septic equipment is minimized when water is recycled. Likewise, some of
the excess strain associated with contaminants such as BOD and
suspended matter is minimized.
Much lower consumption of potable water Buildings use much less potable water without occupants having to make any changes to their water consumption habits.
Regulatory compliance More and more governments faced with occasional or permanent water shortages are adopting laws to limit the use of potable water. In such cases, the best option is to recycle water.
A stable, reliable supply Some critical applications such as industrial processes can be made safer through recycling, which helps stabilize the quality of the water used and makes it easier to monitor.

SAFE AND RELIABLE Thanks to AQUARTIS’ H2ZO™ water treatment process using proven and reliable technologies, systems coming out of
our factory produce very high quality recycled water compliant with the requirements of NSF/ANSI 350, the most
recognized and demanding international standard within the water recycling industry. This level of water quality is
critical in order to guarantee a risk free environment for users.
The following criteria shall be met in order for a system to be classified as Class C (multi-family and commercial facility) water treatment system for restricted indoor and unrestricted outdoor use, such as toilet, urinal flushing and surface and subsurface irrigation:
AQUACARE™ MONITORING SYSTEM In order to provide un-equalized reliability, AQUARTIS has engineered AQUACARE™; this unique technology featured in most of our systems is composed of a number of high-quality sensors and probes, including level sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors and water meter(s) to oversee every steps of the treatment process and allow the publication of trends reports on every aspects of systems operations. For optimal monitoring, electricity consumption meter(s) and inline water quality sensors can be added to AQUACARE™ upon request.
