• Since the number of Protons can’t change, what about the number of electrons or neutrons?

• Yup – You can change the number of Neutrons- which changes the mass, and some properties – these different massed atoms of one element are called IsotopesIsotopes.

• Famous Isotopes – U-235, C-14, Pu-239, Po-210

• Danger – math weirdness
