2. Verify e-payment files for authenticity.
3. Uploading authenticated files to Bank GOI Application.
4. Generation of payment transaction files.
5. Payment Initiation in CBS for RTGS, NEFT, Direct Credit.
6. Upload reports back to Bank GOI Application.
7. Generate e-payment Scroll for transacted records.
8. Digitally sign the e-payment scroll (Detached mode).
9. Upload e-scroll files to GePG website.

e-Payments through GePG touched INR 3,39,386.91 Crores as on18-Apr-2013 with over 15,95,215 successful e-payment Advices from328 Pay and Accounts Offices of50 Ministries and Departmentsmade through 20 Public Sector and Private Sector Banks.
The Payment Life Cycle has shrunk to 5.21 days during March, 2013from the Bill preparation Date to Beneficiary Account Credit date asagainst the average of20.07 days in the Cheque based mode ofpayments before the introduction of e-payments.
SMS Alerts are generated for Banks when PAOssubmits e-payment advices on GePG and SMSalerts to beneficiaries when successful creditinformation in uploaded by accredited banks.
