What is E-Rate?

•Discount that schools and libraries receive for the acquisition of telecommunication services

•Available to non-profit private schools, public schools and libraries

Discounts Information

•Up to $2.25 billion will be available from the Universal Service Fund

•Discounts range from 20%-90% and are based on economic disadvantage and geographic location

•Discounts depend on eligibility in the federal free and reduced lunch program
