e-RegAn electronic register for monitoring student
attendance
The e-Reg project won the runner-up award and progressed as finalists in the BluePrint Business Planning Competition (2009).
USP’s• Bespoke design developed in collaboration with University
staff.• Unique technology – no similar product is available on the
market today!• Layered approach

within various inefficient processes. One estimate puts them at £369,600 p.a. (£44 per week x 28 teaching weeks x 300 teaching staff).
• Each e-Reg unit costs £199.00 , plus annual software license of £99.00 p.a. Hence saving of at least £280,200 in year 1 and £339,900 in subsequent years.
• No contractual tie in after year 1.• Lost or damaged units replaced at cost price).
Director of Finance (Teesside University) “I can see that this could prove very useful and could potentially
generate efficiencies”
