  • BORN LEARNING PARENT ACADEMIES

In Kentucky, half of children do not arrive at kindergarten ready to learn. Through

our Born Learning Parent Academies, families can take an active role in getting their

children ready for kindergarten starting from birth. The FREE workshops offer

practical ideas and materials to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities.

Through a series of free workshops, parents, families and caregivers will learn about

child development and how to spark learning opportunities in everyday life. Workshops

are open to all Shelby County residents with children from birth to age five.
