Promoting the brotherhood of Scouting in the San
Diego-Imperial Council
ESAA MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the San Diego - Imperial Council Eagle Scout Alumni Association (ESAA) is to sup-port and enlarge the success of the Boy Scout movement and build fellowship among adult Eagles in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
The ESAA achieves this purpose by recruiting as many adult Eagle Scouts as possible to become Scouting volunteers, by supporting activities within the Council that promote the Scouts' advancement along the Trail to Eagle and by giving recognition to the young men who earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
Membership and Service
The ESAA provides a unique service for the San
Diego-Imperial Council. Each of its members
have a common thread of Scouting experience
as fellow Eagle Scouts. Drawing upon their ex-
perience as youth scouts and their professional
and community involvement as adults, the mem-
bers of the ESAA offer a mix of leadership and
program insight that maintains Scouting tradition
and actively builds support for the council.
ESAA Membership is only $20 annually. Life
membership is still only $300, and all funds sup-
port our council activities. Membership applica-
tions are available on our web site.
Come Join Us!
The ESAA meets every first Thursday at 7-8 AM
at Atherton Hall, Boy Scout Headquarters, 1207
Upas Street in San Diego. The board members
hold their monthly meeting and all members are
encouraged to attend.
The youth of our country are
the foundation for our future.
As the world becomes more
complex and social stan-
dards become blurred, it is
encouraging to have our tra-
ditional values to guide us.
The term Eagle Scout is one
of the most recognized titles
in our country for a person
who is reliable, responsible and of strong
character. What better group to look to for
leadership and dedication to the principles
of Scouting than our Eagle Scout Alumni
Association. The ESAA is founded on the
concepts of promoting Scouting and the
Path to Eagle Scout, and for activating
adults to give their time and talents for our
youth.
