Ask pupils if their parents have ever bought anything in the sale or if they have been into a shop during a half price sale.2. Discuss with pupils how to halve a number i.e. divide by 2. Ask pupils to pick a Halving Money Card and halve the amount on the card. Repeat several times and practice halving different numbers.3. Explain to the class that the class shop is going to have a half price sale. Ask pupils to reduce everything by half price and write new labels showing the reduced price on PCM B1.4. Ask pupils to complete PCM H1 or PCM H2 as appropriate. Pupils reduce everything in the shop to half price.
