Based on best practices
Functionality of the Vanderlande standard covers: > Incident management to optimise system
availability by restoring functionality as soon as possible
> Work order planning and automatic generation of work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance
> Preventive maintenance schedules based on predefined criteria to minimise the risk of system downtime
> Spare parts management: guaranteed availability of system parts for quick intervention or replacement
> Reports and KPIs visualising the previous functionalities to provide input for potential technical, organisational and financial improvements
ImplementationImplementation lead-time is significantly reduced by the use of a standard approach and through the experience we have gained in successful implemen-tation projects. This structured approach also ensures the required EAM system implementation quality.
An EAM system helps you to schedule your work more effectively and to set up a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) programme. You will be able to estimate cost more accurately, optimise management of your spare parts inventory, and improve reordering and material tracking.
Further benefits include taking better care of system equipment leading to improved system uptime, and keeping detailed equipment histories that can be used to make accurate repair or replace decisions.
Vanderlande uses its own standard approach to set up an EAM system. This enables you directly to use best practices established by Vanderlande in maintenance processes on other sites. As well as the material handling system, other facilities can also be added to the EAM system.
Planning Maintenance
Streamlining the maintenance process, consistently keeping your system operating at
maximum performance, and reducing life cycle costs. Vanderlande’s Enterprise Asset
Management (EAM) solution based on 15 years’ experience in setting up and implementing
EAM software packages for baggage handling and automated material handling systems
makes this possible.
Configuration set-upThe way we organise and structure our EAM system results in a user-friendly system. This enables you to perform clear and unambiguous analyses.
TrainingOnce the EAM system has been implemented, it is important to achieve a uniform working method to ensure that data entered in the EAM system complies with the maintenance strategy. Vanderlande has developed work instructions to guide users in their daily work with the EAM system, and also provides training.
Software as a ServiceThe Vanderlande EAM solution is built on IBM Maximo® and available in the cloud - it can be accessed from anywhere, anytime via a secured internet connection. Further benefits are low upfront cost and the guarantee that Vanderlande takes care of the complete infrastructure. Vanderlande also enables you to further improve your efficiency by offering this solution for mobile devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones.
