Mountains:•Raised area ofland, usuallyhas a peak

Valleys:•Low area of land usually between mountains

River:•Natural streamof water, flows into the ocean

Ocean:•Large body ofsalt water that covers the earth

Desert:•Area of land with hot temperaturesand very little rain.

Weather on earth:•Changes daily•Depends on where your located – California has hot summers and cold winters. Arizona is hot all year long.

On earth we have days and nights because of how the earth turns. When it is day that means that the sun is shinning on our part of the earth. When it is night that means that the sun is on the other side of the earth,

giving the people over there day light.
