Standing Committees Committees with open-membership and internally elected leadership, fulfilling key functions of EarthCube and supporting ad hoc working groups created by the members to innovate and respond to immediate needs.

REVISED DRAFT EarthCube Enterprise Governance -- 6.26.14

Leadership CouncilSets the strategic direction and identifies what is within and outside of scope for EarthCube. Assess and makes changes to the structure as needed. Voting members are individuals elected by EarthCube Members as their representatives and representatives of the Standing Committees. The non-voting members help to establish a strong connection with the academic geosciences, funding agency, and the Office.

Office Support function of Enterprise Governance. Supports all activities of EarthCube Governance. Implements the actions and suggestions of the Engagement and Liaison Teams.
