East Coast Park Site 4 Recce Report

Location

This beach is located between the eastern end of stonewall 2A and on the western endof stonewall 3. Stonewall 3 is located near to the Marine cove/McDonald (Closed, underconstruction).

Meeting Point and facilities

Meeting at the pavilion between BBQ Pit 24C and 26C.

Nearest shelters, toilets: site 5 near PCN Pitstop as Marine cove was closed.

Carpark: There are several carparks in this site, Public carpark C2, carparkadjacent to marine cove.

Site description

A recreational beach area where trash is cleared daily. It is a long beach and fullof small pieces of trash, and the most common items are styrofoam pieces andcigarette filters.

Trash Collection Point

Trash can be placed near a lamppost on the main walking trail (lamppost C2-34).

Safety Issues

**Nearest hospitals are Parkway East Hospital and Changi General Hospital**

There is a stonewall within the site, participants are advised to be careful of theslippery stonewall sides and to watch your footing. Participants are advised to becareful here to avoid cuts and injuries.
