Our service helps participants to improve their physical and mental well- being by enabling them to begin to value themselves and achieve a more positive outlook on life. They also become more confident, less isolated and able to relate with and inter- act with others. Our qualified staff encourage the participants to engage with and develop their creativity as a means of self-nurture; building the self-esteem which is often lost during illness As an alternative to clinical interventions, EDICT finds the time to get to know the individual and plan a programme of support for as long as it takes.
