Northport Teen Summer Reading Club 2011. From June 27-
August 11, students entering grades 6-12 are invited to come to
the library and read for prizes as well as take part in special
programs offered throughout the summer.
Earn one Book Buck for every age-appropriate book that you read.
Obtain your “Read and Rate Forms” in the Teen Centers or online at

Skate Parks: The Town of Huntington has opened its' first Skate Park, located in
Greenlawn Park on the corner of Broadway and Cuba Hill Road. The
Park, which is 9,200 square feet, has grind boxes, wedges, rails,
spines, ramps, subboxes, quarter pipes, and half pipes ranging up to
eight feet in height. The Park is designed for beginners and
advanced rollerbladers, skateboarders, and BMX bikers. For more
