Monday

• Arrival and coach transfer to hotel• Bed down for the remainder of the night• Breakfast in the hotel• Schindler museum with guide• Guided tour of Krakow – including the Jewish Quarter• 3 course restaurant meal

• Breakfast at hotel• Coach to Auschwitz 1 – with guide• Transfer to Auschwitz Birkenau – with guide• 2 course meal @ Hard Rock Cafe

Wednesday

• Breakfast at the hotel• Free time in Krakow• Excursion to Wieliczka salt mine• Back to airport to fly back

Limitations

• Every person going must be 12 or over on the day we travel out• The recommended age limit on Auschwitz is 14 so

we need written parental acceptance of this if under 14 when we travel• Parents can join us (same costs) but will need to

undertake an enhanced DBS with us

Costs• Total cost is £520 – this includes contingency, in

case of price changes, as recommended by the tour operator. If not required the last payment will be reduced• Deposit of £150 required by 15 April 18 – we then

need to supply this; with the name as on your passport, to the tour operator to book your ticket • Payment 2 of £150 October 18• Payment 3 of £150 January 19• Final payment of £70 February 19• These dates are set by the tour operator

What next

• If you wish to join us on this international trip, then we must have your completed form and deposit by 15 April 18 (cheques payable to Penistone Scouts Camp Account – or automated transfer to Camp Account with PL-xxx [where xxx child’s name] as reference)• Ensure your passport has 6 months validity after

you will return

What extra do you need

• We will not be supplying extra drinks / sweets so you will need spending money – note tax on luxury goods like chocolate is very high• You may want money for souvenirs

Polish Currency• The currency is the Zloty and we may be able to

exchange in bulk. Currently 1 Zloty is 21 pence.

• We are using the company European Study Tours and they are ABTA registered
