Job Description:

Eaton’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Internship Program is designed to provide participant

with challenging and rewarding EHS experiences that enable them to develop leadership and functiona

skills. The program is ideal for current undergraduate or master students in chemical, civil, electricaenvironmental, industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering who have a proven track record o

excellent academic performance and high level of ethics, values, and creativity. Selected candidates w

be passionate about a career in EHS in a manufacturing environment.

This challenging 12-week paid internship is based in one of Eaton’s manufacturing locations across th

United States. During the internship, participants are provided with on-the-job professional and leadershi

responsibilities while working on projects with measurable business impact.

The 12-week paid internship will provide participants with:

• Exposure to EHS, risk management, and sustainability

Eaton Internship Program is for students pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, industria& systems, engineering technology, aerospace &/or aeronautical, engineering management, operations

year by the start of the internship is preferred.

Transportation to and from the worksite and for incidental business travel is the responsibility of th

Job Description:

Eaton’s North American Technical Sales Internship Program is for students who are pursuing a degree in gen

engineering – electrical, mechanical, manufacturing or industrial, marketing, industrial distribution, or enginee

technology.

The objective of the internship program is to develop students in the sales function in the electrical

manufacturing industry through practical experiences, as well as assist in the personal developmen

leadership competencies through training, networking and coaching. The assignment will help the particip

develop a wide range of leadership and functional competencies within the eld of sales, marketing an

sales engineering through exposure to selling of electrical and industrial distribution products, solutions,

value in a competitive marketplace within a team environment to distributors, contractors, consultants

end customers.

Participants will be assigned meaningful and challenging projects in their sales ofces while performing o

duties that might include: project take-off and bid preparations; preparation of bills of materials, terms conditions, and pricing; preparation of submittals, quotations follow-up, negotiating tracking; administratio

change orders; support to Inside Sales and Outside Field Sales Engineers; and other responsibilities as assig

by the manager. There will also be several training opportunities available throughout the internship experie

In order for you to maximize your experience in gaining customer and sales knowledge and to complete y

project work assignments, you may be required to travel to various regional locations which could incl

This role is designed to prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton. There is desired commitment of 3 - 5 years in this initial role with Eaton due to the complexity and breadth o

product knowledge needed for success in eld service. As a new engineer, you will be provided wit

a structured training and development curriculum; a blend of instructor-led, virtual classrooms, an

eLearning courses to assist you develop in your career.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering program including electrical, electrical and or computer, o

electrical engineering technology

• Authorization to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without visa sponsorship

• Geographical exibility within the United States

• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant internship or co-op experience

• Community and campus activity with leadership roles

• Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills

• Coursework in power systems or electrical machines

• Experience with engineering software (AutoCad, MATLAB)

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
