VHMA Insiders' Insight Report This month's survey drilled deeper into how practices set feesand what information they use. The vast majority ofrespondents selected the costbased pricing approach forproduct and service pricing. When asked "How did your practice get information about the prices others in your marketcharge?," the use of published fee guides was the most popular choice followed by checkingprices of local competitors. A number of respondents in teh "Other" section also noted that theyreviewed invoices from other local area clinics that new clients brought as part of their records. The survey also asked about the role that discounts, price promotions, and bundling play in theirpricing strategies. Read the full report for more details.
