Welcome to the Easter 2011 Ebony Park Catalog!

All the horses are beautiful and special in their own way, and all h a v e t h e w o n d e r f u l , c a l m temperaments of a Friesian and sweet, kind natures.

Our horses grow up in large 10 acre paddocks with plenty of grass as well as a specialised diet with added vitamins and minerals to ensure optimum growth. They play with their brothers and sisters and are generally left to be horses and grow. Every eight weeks they are brought in for worming and their feet done, and every year they are vaccinated.

When we took photos of the two year olds they were exceptional. Every single one of them stood while we brushed, plaited, cut ear and face hair and put boots on - all for the very first time. Our main problem was getting them to run away from us to get the trot photos! The yearlings are shaping up to be the same as their older siblings - they want to be near you all the time, which makes it very hard to get good photos!! :)

I am very proud of the horses we have here and very excited about their futures. They are only to be sold to the best of homes, to owners that are suited to them and to their future potential.

PAYMENT PLANSAt Ebony Park we understand sometimes it is hard to come up with a lump sum of money all at once. Especially if the horse you have purchased is young and you can’t ride it for a few years.

With this is mind we came up with a ‘layby’ system where you can pay off the horse as it grows up (this payment plan option is not offered on horses that are already broken in).

The payment plan can be for any length of time you choose - between 6 months. and up to 3 years - whatever is best for you (generally until the horse is ready to be broken in).

All we ask is for a 10$ upfront deposit. Then to work out how much you will pay simply divide the purchase price (minus the 10% deposit you already paid) by the number of months you would like to pay off and thats your horse payment.

We then add the agistment rate. If your horse is on a payment plan that means we treat it as one of our own, its feet and worming will be done every 8 weeks as well as vaccinations every year. It will be fed the same as our horses with a hard feed daily as well as plenty of grass - and if the grass gets low this is supplemented with round grass hay bales harvested from the farm. The agistment is $197 per month and covers everything. You won’t be billed for anything unless your horse requires veterinary assistance.

Which brings me to insurance. The third part to the payment plan is we insist all the horses be insured. This is to protect you and us. Insurance can be taken out by a provider of your choice or we use Wallace Livestock (IRT). The insurance tends to be approximately 5-10% of the purchase price for a year and this is also divided into monthly repayments.

beautiful temperament will hold him in good stead for whatever he is used for.

taller than most of her brothers. Danielle looks like her Dam but posses the wonderful and quality paces of her sire. As the only girl among all the boys she

holds herself with style and grace and has a beautiful soft calm temperament. To breed, ride or both, she is an asset to anyone looking for looks and temperament.

we think the cutest! He is finer than the others but makes up for it with his gorgeous, inquisitive personality. If you are looking for something a bit smaller and

finer with a bit of spunk, perhaps Hanibal is the boy for you...

competing and winning at the Inter II level in dressage, out of our lovely thoroughbred mare, Top Rein. Meteor is very friendly and easy going. We think he

would make a super event horse or dressage horse and would give 100% to his rider.

EP Venus is the oldest of our crossbred foals for 2009. This filly is by our youngest Friesian stallion, Ebony Park Jorrit, who has a stunning trot and

magnificent canter, out of one of our lovely thoroughbred mares, Alpine Star. This extremely friendly filly loves to come up for a scratch and a carrot – she has

inherited her mother’s friendly nature, together with her sires magnificent movement. A dressage prospect to look out for in the future!

This pretty filly is by our 17.1hh Friesian stallion, Ebony Park Elko, by our lovely bay warmblood mare, Solombe B, who stands at 17.0HH - we expect her to mature close to both parents height. This friendly filly displays three stunning paces inherited from her sire, and coupled with her mother's finer features, this filly is one to watch out for in the future! With her height, movement, willing and friendly temperament and the versatility of

a crossbred, Federlite has the potential to be a great eventer!

I would like to express my thanks to the owners and staff of Ebony Park Performance Friesians.Initially I had visited Ebony Park to view their foals. On the way down to the paddocks I saw an amazing gelding. He was absolutely beautiful. I asked Ginger his name but thought he was out of my league. I viewed the foals and was torn as to what to do.That night I spoke to Natasha. During our conversation I mentioned the gelding and to my surprise he was for sale. I couldn’t believe my luck but still thought he was out of reach. Natasha spent an hour on the phone as I went back and forth in my head. I wanted a forever horse for dressage and everything in between.I returned to Ebony Park the following week where I formally met this amazing horse. EP Prince was stunning, gentle and kind. I would like to thank Natasha and Kate from Ebony Park for giving me the fantastic opportunity to purchase Daquiri. from the moment I came across the Ebony Park website and saw the beautiful horses at the stud and their progeny for sale, I was hooked. The added bonus was Natasha competing on these breeding horses at the highest levels in dressage - this gave me a boost of confidence when seeking to purchase a purposely-bred Friesian suitable for dressage. The ability to view the site at Ebony Park, as well as the dam and other related offspring. also gave me a great opportunity to examine and compare temperaments and breeding strengths (I was impressed with all I saw). Ebony Park was extremely helpful in my visit to their property and all my communications with them - both before and after the sale. Purchasing a horse was hassle-free (even from interstate).Their generous payment plan, allowed me to bring my dream of owning a purebred Friesian much closed, and their knowledge of Friesains and attention to their needs (eg. nutritional requirements), gives me peace of mind that Daquiri is growing up in ideal conditions.
