About us In celebration of Latin American Heritage Month, this“First Formal Event” will be
part of the 2011 Latin Fashion Week (LFW) Calendar.
Since established over a decade ago, LFW’s mission is to help establish
Washington DC as aFashion Capitol Destination. Latin Fashion Week provides a
platform for Local, National and International talented designers, to showcase
their unique creations through Fashion; while providing Washington DC with a
one of a kind fashion event during Latin Fashion Week. Not only do these efforts
support our interest and passion for fashion, but it also provides opportunities
for philanthropic growth.
LFW promotes diversity in fashion. Latin Fashion Week events offer a yearly

mitochondrial disorders and to provide support to affected individuals and
families.
Latin Fashion Week 2011 is being host at the Washington Marriott Hotel at
Metro Center, consisting of 3 days of fashion extravaganza. Poised to receive
unprecedented press exposure and bring notoriety to designers.
LFW assembles elite industry professionals, media, buyers and celebrities with
the sole purpose to showcase the best-established couture and new raising
