To help out, we’re going to “shower the parsonage” with some household essentials, prior to the Miller’s arrival. If you would like to help out, pick up a card with an item listed on it in the foyer, and bring the item to the church office no later than Wed., June 27th. Cash donations will be used to purchase groceries (mark your check “pastor welcome”). All items will be set up in the parsonage prior to the Miller’s arrival. Today we say farewell to our beloved Pastor Pam and her dear husband Doug. We were blessed by the time we had with them and know they will be such a blessing to their new church family at St. John’s UMC Albuquerque. We hope to honor their legacy here at UUMC by continuing the work they started such as the NM Ramp Project, ministering to those in their “Third Chapter of Life”, and strengthening the partner- ship with our sister covenant church El Calvario UMC. Our church, our neighborhood, and our community will all be better places thanks to the seeds these two individuals have sown. There’s a season for everything and a time for every matter under the heavens Ecclesiastes 3:1 (CEB) Malachi brings down the curtain on the Old Testament. He is the last in a long succession of prophets who foretold the coming of the Mes- siah. Malachi is a very interesting person, with a wonderful sense of humor.
