MESSAGE FROM TRUSTEE

Quote: Support learners to be a responsible maker of their unique identity. Every progressive effort needs to be recognized and appreciated, encouraging every child to develop and imbibe a creative approach towards learning. Supporting this philosophy, Gajera Trust organized a celebrationcum felicitation program “One Happiness GaFest”for our students, teachers, and choreographers - the shining stars of “One Happiness Mahot-sav.”Amidstdifferent categories like Dance, Choreography, Music, Graphics, Costume, etc. we appreciated excellent performances from all the schools with certificate and gift, providing motivation to continually grow and learn new things. On 26th January, the 68th Republic Day of India, each institution of Gajera Trustcelebrated Flag Hoisting ceremony with pride and enthusiasm. Asour nation is building very fast on the path of progressive develop-ment, our creative youth has a great opportunity to make India the most powerful, innovative, and happy nation in the world. To achieve the vision, our young learners must unlock their full potential while parents along with educators and Trust Management should work together in one direction to boost sustainable and innovative progress. Every child has unique strength and personality, demanding individual care and supporting environment to thrive and flourish. I firmly believe parents should move on from exam-oriented thinking whilepromoting kids to enhance problem-solving skills. Parents can discuss with teachers and trustees to create a happy rapport with kids for holistic growth. Let’s work together toinstill a progressive approach in kids and support learner to be a responsible maker of their unique identity.

Mr. Chunibhai Haribhai Gajera,

Managing Trustee

Throughout the year, we welcome and encourage your involvement, input, and participation in making Laxmi International School [LIS] the best educational experience possible for all of our students. The many opportunities available at LIS are intended to allow every student to grow as an individual as well as academically. In addition to academics, there are many dances, athletic opportunities, clubs, school spirit events, and other school activities for student participation next year also. I strongly en-courage all students to participate in extra-curricular opportunities and contribute to the school. This is a special way to make a connection with classmates and teachers and develop a great sense of pride for our school. I wish students best wishes for the upcoming examination.

Let's Do It Anyway When life is full of sufferings and hardships, you might be depressed. Let's just live life anyway. When you are happy, people may be jealous. Let's just be happy anyway. When you are kind, you might be accused of selfish motives. Let's just be kind anyway. When you are honest, some people may cheat you. Let's just be honest anyway. When you trust others, you might be betrayed. Let's just trust others anyway. When you succeed, you win false friends and true enemies. Let's just succeed anyway. When people are unreasonable and selfish, you might be hurt. Let's just forgive them anyway. When you've built for years, someone might destroy it overnight. Let's just build on anyway. When people make mistakes, you might have to suffer. Let's give them a second chance anyway. When you do something good today, it might be forgotten tomorrow. Let's just do good anyway. When people realize their mistakes and apologize for it, Maybe it's time to forgive them anyway. When you give your best, it might not seem enough. Let's give our best anyway. You see, the final analysis is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway. By: Viraj Rajendra Sanap.

WELLNESS TODAY

Tips to remain healthy before & during appearing for examination

1. Close your fingers into a fist and twirl the wrist in order to recharge your fingers for increasing the pace of writing. 2. Keep yourself hydrated, even in the examination hall 3. Avoid the sleeping posture while reading. 4. Take regular breaks if you are reading from the computer. The thumb rule is 20-second break after every 20 minutes spent reading on screen. Blink at regular intervals and splash clean water in your eyes to avoid dryness. 5. Before tucking in, place a slice of cucumber or a used-and-dried green tea bag on the eyes to refresh them. 6. Take a 10 to 15-minute nap after a long period of continuous reading. 7. Try music therapy by listening to soft and slow music, preferably symphonies. 8. Get at least seven hours of sleep because during that time the body executes repair mechanism; new cells and neurons are formed that are important to help one feel fresh and think more clearly. 9. During the exam, stretch your legs at regular intervals. Flex your toes by point-ing them towards the ground for five seconds or move your feet in a circular mo-tion from the ball of the ankle. 10. Back track Sitting continuously for long hours, and often in positions which are not right, does tend to put a lot of stress on the back. Poor posture and lack of change of posture causes stiffness in the back muscles. Sometimes, stress on the brain can also cause the muscles of your torso and back to tense up.

Do the best of your ability always…
