Dear Members: Shul security, your safety and the safety of your family are our biggest concerns. The LSS Security Committee is operational 24/7. We are working in front of the shul and behind the scenes to protect you and to make our shul safer. In addition we are in constant contact with CSS (Community Security Service), the volunteer Jewish organization that continues to train us. If you have taken a course and have become an LSV (a Local Synagogue Volunteer) or a Team Leader we thank you. If you have not, then plan on it for 2014. We encourage everyone to support CSS by making a generous donation. You can donate on line by going to the CSS website: http://www.thecss.org/donate.asp. To mail a check, identify yourself as a member of LSS and send it to: CSS, 132 E. 43rd St. Suite 552, New York, NY 10017. Questions? Contact the LSS head of Security Harvey Stein at [email protected]
