Welcome to Eco Khao Lak Adventure, a Limited Partnership

company that was first established in 1996 by its then and

current owner, Kunorana Runagapibal (Kwanna). Back then,

Khao Lak was a very different place to what you now see,

with only a handful of hotels and even less tour excursion

companies. We established a good friendship with the Khao

Lak Laguna Resort and many others who gave us full support in

order to help us grow.

Around the year 2000, things took a big step forward when we

attracted international travel agents attention and formed

contractual agreements with them. In the season of 2003 we

increased our number of excursions to meet the increasing

tourism market in Khao Lak. This helped Eco Khao Lak

Adventure grow to become the market leader and in 2004 we

had one of our best years ever attracting clients all year round

through high season and low season.

In addition to a thriving European market, we started having

Asian clients from countries such as Korea, Japan, Singapore

and China. In December 2004, all hotels were 100% fully

occupied and shops and restaurants were happy. On the 26th

of the month however, something changed things dramatically

for us. At around 1030am, nature decided to show its strength

with the infamous tsunami and devastated the Andaman coast,

including Khao Lak and also including Eco Khao Lak Adventure.

It took 2 years to recover and in mid 2006, Eco Khao Lak

Adventure finally moved into our present offices that we were

hoping to move into, back in 2004. Slowly we have been able

to build the business back up to strength and we would like

to personally express our thanks to all clients – many of which

have remained good friends, hotels and of course the tourism

trade that have helped us along the way.

Today, Eco Khao Lak Adventure is looking positively towards the

future and aiming to provide its clients with new excursions,

suitable for all budgets. These tours, in conjunction with full

travel agency services such as airport transfers, taxi service and

hotel bookings, as well as general tourist information are all

provided to help you enjoy everything that Khao Lak and Phang

Nga province have to offer. Whether you simply require a half

day jungle trekking in the local National Park, an overnight stay

at the stunning Chiewlan Lake, a day safari in Khao Sok or even

the private charter of a luxury boat, Eco Khao Lak Adventure

Important Advice and RecommendationsFor Your Safety And Comfort and cancellation condition One of the most popular tours in Khao Lak. Elephants were the

tanks of the ancient battlefield, with Siamese soldiers riding

them into battle. Until recent times, elephants were used

mostly in the timber and logging trade in the North of Thailand.

Nowadays elephants are used in the tourism industry which, in

turn helps to give them a far better quality of life. Elephants

are considered a sacred animal to the Thai people, with a white

elephant once gracing the former national flag. Now you can

also enjoy the amazing thrill of riding one of these gentle giants through the hills and jungle surrounding Khao Lak.

Whitewater Rafting, ATV and Flying Fox

If you are seeking a day filled with excitement and fun, then this

one is for you. The day starts with white water rafting followed by

a visit to Tone Pariwat Sanctuary Station, a beautiful place

abundant with flora and fauna. After this, the pace steps up again

with the chance to experience ATV motorcycle riding through the

forests on the specially assigned trails.

• Coffee break while listening to the briefing by the tour leader.

• Get wet and make some noise out on the river in the

Three Temples Tour

Buddhism has for centuries now been a way of life for the Thai

population and many people have been practicing teaching

Buddhism for generations. Phang-Nga has three magnificent

temples to visit and learn of their historical importance. Whilst

you are there and you fancy a change then you might want to

try and open your mind to the way of Buddhism too.






Itinerary:The first of the three temples you will visit is the nature temple

Dragon Cave Temple. The Dragon Cave Temple is famous for the

herbal tea that the monks make themselves. Next, stop for a

lunch of Thai food.

The second temple that you will visit is Wat Bang Riang. Here

you will also see the Pagoda and the Goddess of Mercy statue,

also known as Kwan Im.

The third temple is Wat Suwan Khuha (cave temple). Here you

can see the reclining Buddha and interact with the resident

monkeys which you will find all over the temple.

Finally it’s time for a break and a swim in the Sranang Manorah

waterfalls. This is a natural forest park, with waterfalls and

ponds, perfect to cool down and relax after the Temple tour !

This is a prawn wrapped in yellow noodles and then deep fried.

A solitary island located 20km north of Koh Bon, Koh Tachai has magnificent white sandy beach with crystal clear waters. Quite a quiet island too, as it is out of reach for Phuket tourists. The island is also called the Maledives of Thailand due to the amazing beach and waters. Snorkel, swim and relax and of course don’t forget to see the huge chicken crabs !

• Board the speed boat and 50 minutes later you are in

Phang Nga Bay is not only famous for its James Bond Island but also for its caves. Panak and Hong Islands are the perfect locations to explore the sea caves by canoe. Enter the caves by canoe and see the stunning beauty of the limestone karsts overgrown with trees and plants. Nature at its best.



This tour is different every day due to the tides and accessibility of the caves. So itinerary can vary from day to day, but will always be 2 canoe spots, cave walking and Panyee Island.

Itinerary: • Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Phang Nga Bay.

• Board the longtail boat and go sightseeing in Phang Nga Bay.

• First canoeing spot at either Hong or Panak Island. Sea cave canoeing into the caves and green lagoons.

• Depart to the second canoe spot at either Panak, Hong or Thalu island.

• See the impressive mangroves, caves and green lagoons.

• Lunch at Panyee Island.

• Final stop is the Naga Cave, a 3000 to 5000 year old lime stone cave with impressive limestone karsts, stalactites and stalagmites in the middle of the mangrove forest.

• Back to the pier and back to the hotel.

Visiting Khao Sok National Park will allow us different verities of activities such as jungle trekking on foot or by elephant, visiting waterfalls & river canoeing / Bamboo rafting, overnight trips are also offered either staying at bamboo raft house at Cheow Lan Lake and Rachaphrapha Dam or at the Tree House, Morning/Night safari by longtail boat with superb views over the lake to the limestone ridges, in order to maximise your enjoyment and experience of this truly stunning part of Southern Thailand.
