WHAT is EcoTemp
EcoTemp is a passive Variotherm technology without active heating! The heat generated in the mould by the process (injection of the plastic) is used to heat the cavity. And only discharged at the right moment EcoTemp is an additional function to the single temperature control units.
HOW EcoTemp WORKS • The temperature control unit receives a signal via an interface to the injection moulding machine.
• By interrupting the flow during injection, counter-cooling is avoided!
• The flow in the cycle is switched on again via an adjustable time switch element.
• This makes it possible to drive with colder water.
• This shortens the cycle time.

The EcoTemp from SINGLE makes changing to variotherm mould temperature control especially easy. With EcoTemp, temperature control systems operating with user-defined performance data and operating temperatures can be combi-ned to create an intermittent flow through the mould.
