Our team members are not the cogs in the massive staffing engines of the big generalist agency, nor are they in a tiny boutique business where they are unsupported. We feel we offer the best of both - the support of a large business but with the agility of a smaller boutique organisation. This means that our consultants work a bitdifferently. These are our expectations for new team members:

Planning and organisationEffectively organise and plan weekly activity covering:

• Meetingclients– to understand the clients you work with we aim for every consultant to meet at least eight clients per month

• Meetingcandidates – to understand the career aspirations of our candidates meeting them face-to-face is key and we expect every consultant to meet at least 15 candidates per month

• Identifybusinessdevelopmentopportunities – a core daily activity encompassing everything from research to calls and visits

• Developingrelationships – to build strong and long lasting relationships and realise their full potential

Quality and ComplianceAs one of the first recruitment businesses in the UK to achieve the Investor in People and ISO accreditation, quality and compliance is an important part of our ethos. Consultants are expected to actively demonstrate a full understanding of company quality standards and procedures, including:

Staying healthy - Eden Brown Synergy’s Keep Fit @ Lunchtime Policy One of our most popular benefits allows you to use the gym, run, or swim during your lunch break. A full hour may be allocated towards your chosen activity. For this you’re given a further 15 mins to eat your lunch afterwards. In most cases this gives you between 30 and 45 mins to exercise. It works particularly well as all Eden Brown Synergy offices are located near the most popular gyms.

Your developmentLearning and development is fundamental to your success and to the success of our organisation. Through effective, personalised development we enable each individual to make their maximum contribution and fulfiltheir potential.

We deliver the bulk of our learning in-house with the majority of sessions written, arranged and delivered byour group Learning and Development Team. Learning options currently in place include:

• Dedicated in-house training workshops• 1-2-1 coaching• Career breaks/sabbaticals• Financial assistance to gain professional qualifications• Management training days/external training days/team building programmes

For added effectiveness and credibility we engage “experts” from around the business who can share knowledge, real experience and commercial success with participants. Whenever possible the Learning and Development Team will travel to the consultant’s home office to deliver training, minimising their time away from the team and saving on delegate travel costs.

Learning and Development needs are identified with our managers at monthly meetings. The delivery style is varied as much as possible and includes classroom workshops, online support ,1-2-1 mentoring and coaching. This means we adapt to suit the learning style of each individual and do not simply roll out a one size fits allapproach.
