Mathletics Week 10 Congratulations Eden Public!!! Last week we had 1 student achieve their GOLD CERTIFICATE, 9 students achieve a Silver Certificate and 50 students earned a Bronze Certificate. Well done everyone! Remember to get a Silver certificate you must get four Bronze certificates. Bronze certificates are earned by getting 1000 points in a week (Monday morning to Sunday night), about 5-10 activities in total.

Just remember students have full 24hr access to Mathletics on the Internet and therefore can still access the programs during the holidays. This is a great way for students to earn an extra two Bronze Certificates towards their next Silver Certificate.

ARCO (Anti-Racism Contact Officer) In line with NSW Department of Education (DoE) policy, all forms of racism are unacceptable at Eden Public School. No student, parent, caregiver or community member should experience racism, including direct and indirect harassment within the learning and working environments of the department. A member of staff in all DoE public schools must undergo training to become the school’s ARCO. This role is now held by myself, Mrs Bolton. The ARCO’s role has four main aspects as follows; mediator role, procedural role, educational role and monitoring role. Most importantly, Eden Public School staff will continue to promote acceptance of and respect for Australia’s cultural, linguistic and religious diversity. Anti-racism education is taught in our classrooms and we make every effort to ensure our school is free from discrimination. School Uniform news! Eden Public School will be taking over the uniform shop starting in Term 4. Orders can be placed via the school office, our Facebook page, phone orders on 6496 1169 or email eden-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au. Cash or card payments are available. Wednesday will be delivery day. Orders will be delivered to your child at school unless otherwise stated.
