About the EaglesEdgewood College began Northern Athletics Collegiate

Conference play against Aurora last Saturday but failed to come up with a win against the Spartans. The Eagles were ina2-0deficitveryearlyonbutcouldn’tquitecompletethecomeback effort and fell to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the NACC. Aurora’s Collin Foreman wasted no time in getting the Spartans on the board in the NACC opener for both teams, as the freshman scored on an assist from Ben Edith in just the fourth minute. Angel Barajas followed up Foreman’s goal with one of his own in the ninth minute to give the Spartans the early 2-0 lead over the Eagles. Justin Farley assisted on Barajas’ goal on a cross from the right side. Jesse Greenwood made some noise for Edgewood College earlyoninthesecondhalfbyscoringhisfirstgoalinanEdgewood College uniform. He put one in on an assist from Garrett Lee in the 53rd minute to bring the Eagles to within one after Lee found him on a through ball. The Eagles managed two more corner kicks and two shots ongoalafterGreenwood’stallybutfailedtofindthebackofthenet. Aurora put together four shots on goal in that span as well but Kyle Wood was perfect from the ninth minute on.WoodfinishedwithfoursavesonthedaywhileAuroragoalkeeper Zach McFarland also stopped four shots.

About the RaidersThe MSOE Raiders are coming off a 3-0 win over Carroll
